🚨 THIS SHOULD CONCERN EVERYONE 🚨 Lindsay Clancy’s attorney, Kevin Reddington, reached out to blogger Aidan Kearney (“Turtleboy”) asking for his help with the Clancy case. The messages are right there in black and white. That matters because Kearney has a controversial history surrounding the Karen Read case, including allegations involving the harassment and intimidation of people connected to that trial. Now, after the Clancy mistrial, the lone holdout juror has been publicly identified and subjected to intense online scrutiny. Coincidence? Maybe. But it raises a very serious question: Why would a defense attorney seek out someone with this history for help on a case involving a jury? To be clear, contacting a blogger isn’t automatically illegal. But if anyone encouraged, facilitated, or participated in harassment, intimidation, retaliation, or interference with a juror, that’s a completely different matter and Massachusetts law provides serious penalties for juror intimidation and retaliation. A juror’s job is to follow the evidence and the law. They should NOT have to fear being doxxed or targeted for doing their civic duty. ⚖️ The courtroom is where evidence belongs, not the court of public opinion. These circumstances deserve answers and, if warranted, investigation.
