I hadn't considered a ruins theme until yesterday morning, and I nearly binned it because I really wasn't happy with it. Just over a day later, it's shaping up to be one of my favourites!

Four levels left to build for spacepizza.co.uk, the current tilesets have been used at least 5 times each so wondering if we need a new theme to keep things fresh?
Ancient Ruins? But I'm not sure if this is any good🤔I'd love some input to if I should continue with this.
Bit of a cheat, but I'm re-using a load of the stalactite code from the ice levels to do an alien tentacle drop on the, umm, alien levels. Same thing, different look. I know it's cheaty, but I like it😅(And an obstacle for almost free!)

A new retro gaming blog website called “Sprite Fountain” did a little article/interview about Space Pizza, please check it out :)

After trading as iSyntax for many, many years, I've finally got round to doing something radical.
Having a website.
Apparently this internet thing is sticking around, so over the last few days I've decided to get involved.

Quick video of the new Alien theme in game, I'm pleased with it!
8 more levels to build for spacepizza.co.uk then loads more play testing! Still feeling positive about it all 😊

Actually, really liking the new alien theme for spacepizza.co.uk so far! Started a 2nd alien level this evening too. I just hope people play through enough of the game when released to see them 😅

Chatting with another dev today inspired me to add a new theme to spacepizza.co.uk to keep things looking fresh. I've been pixelling away at an "Alien" theme, and it'll fit perfectly between the labs and the boss! Work to do, but I like it :)

I came across a video by TJ Ferreira in a Speccy Next FB group and instantly loved his happy-go-lucky personality. I asked if he'd give a preview build of Space Pizza a go, and he said yes!

I had some stickers made up which I'll be putting in each physical copy of spacepizza.co.uk when it ships. Nothing Earth shatteringly exciting BUT makes me smile :)

I ordered a Space Pizza tee to wear at Crash next month. Using AI to create a cooler photo which makes me look less pathetic 😂😂 OG photos included for the truth! 🤣
Needed a break from Space Pizza this weekend, and I've been itching to try coding a pinball engine for the #ZXSpectrumNext.
Far from perfect, but I think it's a pretty good start!
Fun detour, but now it's back to business as usual :)

While building a laboratory level I realised I could have some fun with mechanics that push the player around by adding 2 parameters to the object (push speed + distance) which I can then easily tweak in the tilemap editor :)
