Watch out for school children! Sounds simple but there are literally hundreds of drivers daily who pass stopped buses with lights flashing! Pay attention and #respectthered #fullstop

School zones, school buses, kids on their first day back, new speed zones, speed cameras- Drivers need to be very cautious this week as we get used to kids being back to school in full swing! #SGBOPP #DriveSafeStaySafe #backtoschool2025 ^dh

This sign means what it says. Drivers are required by law to always stop for and never pass a school bus when its red lights are flashing, regardless of whether they are behind the bus or approaching it from the front. Let's start the school year safely. More info here: shorturl.at/5vuGO ^dr

🏫School is back!🚸 That means more school buses will be on our roads. • When the amber lights are flashing, the bus is slowing down - be prepared to stop. • When the red lights are flashing and the stop arm is out, you MUST stop in both directions. • Never pass a stopped school bus when it's loading or unloading children. #SchoolBusSafety #BackToSchool ^tk

There will be more school buses on the road Tuesday, as well as kids walking and biking to school. The children will be excited and focused on new routines and "old" friends. They may not be looking at your car. Drivers, keep your eyes on the road and sidewalks ahead of you. Be prepared for buses making frequent stops. Young lives depend on you. #ONHwys #school #DriveSafe ^bd
