I’m 1K. United raising status thresholds is fine. Otherwise you'd be complaining nobody ever clears because everyone's 1K. Status is the club you can't wait to join until it's packed. I'm 1K and still buy E+ for almost all my domestic flights, around 70 a year (down from 115 a few years back). If I get an upgrade, great, but I don’t even think about that anymore. I'm 6'4". If I need the space, I pay for it.

Seems like Siri has gotten better, though the bar is really low. Now when I message Instinct in CarPlay about a reminder, send an email, etc., Siri no longer tries to hijack my message mid steam and instead asks if I want to send a reminder, or a message to Instinct.
