A colleague was reading a copy of my book ‘Island of Strangers’ on the train home from #battlefest tonight. The young woman sat next to her saw what my colleague was reading and then started screaming so loudly that the entire carriage fell silent. She said “you don’t actually believe this nonsense, do you?”, shouted and then refused to stay sat next to my friend - all because of a book she was reading. The woman didn’t even know if my @SpeechUnion colleague agreed with the book or not! The woke left in action: so utterly intolerant they can’t even sit next to someone reading a book they don’t agree with.
