This is a moving digital piece I made in Procreate.
Layers on layers — like life. It doesn’t work as a still.
Yoda’s in it. He’s my LifeShip puppy. His image has been on the moon for years.
Some of my art is up there too — reflective collage work with the artists and products that helped me heal. That’s how I send a message out into the dark.
I built it to Radiohead’s Decks Dark.
Darkness comes into your life. A spacecraft blocking out the sky. That ten-ton head.
The old life gets covered over and you have to meet what’s left.
That’s the TBI. Christmas Eve 2019.
You don’t get to go back. You stop waiting for the old self and you learn how to live in the new one.
@radiohead and @dannyelfman carried me through the worst of it — the questionable days, the suffering, the survival, and then the slow return.
There’s a smile on my face for everyone. Masking.
There’s a place in the stars for when you get old.
Death is always there. Nothing is promised except that we keep going.
Smile anyway.

The Girl Kidlet is hedging her bets- it could be freezing cold or wickedly hot & she is ALL about comfort *laughing* This is the dress she is wanting out of storage… it has a heating & cooling system running alongside the steel boning in the corset… She’s also requested the FringeDrifter build too just in case she decides to go the Assassin’s Creed looking route 😂
