Went to the first MetroCREST meeting of the school year today out in @redoakisd, where I also got to catch up with one of my very talented former administrators, who is their newest Director of C&I, Dr. Cardoza! @yanetcardoza

Although I've been back at work for weeks now, yesterday marked the official first day of year 18 as an educator. I kicked off my morning by welcoming kiddos for the FIRST "first day of school" at Carrell Elementary. Year one of many, many to come. So cool! @PrincetonISD

Yesterday, Dr. @GulleyJazzyones led a purposeful vertical alignment session that brought together teachers, ICs, and Coordinators--the first of many to come in @PrincetonISD. 🤩

Editing and revising are both valuable life skills. Often, E&R instruction feels tedious, dull or abstract. Not in @PrincetonISD! Students engage in color-coding to find patterns, hands-on sentence building tasks and fun learning games to help the info stick!
