Upon observing that someone's hips shoot up before their chest/torso in the deadlift, it's amazing how many complicated cues supposedly good coaches will come up with, instead of just teaching and enforcing the correct starting position to begin with (left instead of middle)

My wife when I begin to explain to my In laws at Thanksgiving Dinner that "Physical strength is the most important thing in life. This is true whether you want it to be or not.
