Cocaine use in Ireland is utterly destroying us. We have one of the highest rates of cocaine use in Europe, in both North and South cocaine almost took over cannabis for use in 15-34 year olds and probably will have this year. Over half of all treatments for drug abuse in Ireland have been cocaine. It makes you dumber. It makes you reckless, it makes you prone to stupid decisions. It also puts people into debt with organised criminals who will use that debt to get you to carry out actions for them. It’s even worse for women, and if you think girls get treated better well you’ve another thing coming. Those criminals then fuel other crimes like human trafficking with the profits. And that happens not just when you are on it too, the withdrawals have the same impact. It’s not even taboo anymore to take it. Seriously, get off it. Find help to get off it. Find help to get away from any debts. If you know people who take it, tell them stop. We need Irish people to be better if we ever plan on being more than a third world dumping ground or a serf State to global corporations.
