Today, I am assuming the responsibilities of Prime Minister of Ukraine with a clear set of priorities. Our foremost task is to fully equip Ukraine’s Defense Forces and accelerate the expansion of our defense industrial base. We will do everything possible to ensure that Ukrainian service members have the capabilities they need for every long-range operation, every precision strike, and every mission to defend the front line, including drones of all types, ground robotic systems, advanced equipment, and modern weapons. At the same time, we are preparing the country for winter while continuing to support Ukrainian citizens and businesses. Our responsibility is to fulfill the state’s social obligations in full by ensuring the timely payment of pensions, social assistance, and funding for essential public services. We will continue to give special attention to frontline communities that endure Russian attacks every day. Another key priority is strengthening cooperation with our international partners, securing additional resources, and ensuring the most effective use of international assistance. Our strategic course remains unchanged – Ukraine’s full membership in the European Union. Now it’s time to get to work.

Europe Day is a great moment to mark what we share — and we truly share so much. Historically, culturally, and by its values, Ukraine has always been part of Europe. This connection grows stronger every day through reforms, steady progress towards EU membership, and our common projects. But above all, it is our shared aspiration for a European future that unites us. Happy Europe Day! #EuropeDay2026 #ValuesWeShare

Today is the 1,500th day since Russia launched its full-scale war against Ukraine. What Moscow expected to be a quick victory has turned into a long and costly failure. Instead of achieving its goals, Russia has only deepened its losses and isolation. The world has seen what Russia truly is: a terrorist state. The only answer to this is unity, sustained pressure, and continued defence support for Ukraine.

Russian terror puts all of Europe at risk of a nuclear incident—partners and media need to pay attention and act now to stop nuclear terrorists in Moscow. Russia has recently intensified attacks on the Ukrainian nuclear energy system, creating a direct risk of a nuclear incident. There has been none so far—only thanks to the professionalism of Ukrainian nuclear energy professionals. Russia’s recent attacks against our energy grid have been causing Ukraine’s three operational nuclear power plants to throttle down, occasionally trigger automatic safety shutdowns, reduce output, or disconnect units. Each such situation is a direct threat. Furthermore, the IAEA has recently documented numerous drone flyovers near the Rivne and Khmelnytskyi sites, which are classified as significant security threats. Previously, Russia has hit Chornobyl’s New Confinement with drones, occupied a nuclear power plant for the first time in human history, the ZNPP, turned it into a military base, and continues to create risks for its nuclear safety. Russian terrorists will continue to escalate these threats as long as the world does not stop them. Solutions are ready: sanctions against “Rosatom,” amendments to the IAEA Statute proposed by Ukraine, and enhanced air defense for the Ukrainian defenders to prevent Russia’s strikes against the nuclear energy system. The world must pay attention to Russia’s unacceptable and reckless behavior, putting hundreds of millions of Europeans at direct risk. For instance, the Rivne Nuclear Power Plant is just 135 kilometres from EU and NATO borders. Every air defense system and interceptor provided to Ukraine now is a contribution to the nuclear safety of the entire European continent. We are informing our partners and all headquarters and urge action.

During today’s attacks, Russia once again targeted substations that power the Khmelnytskyi and Rivne nuclear power plants. These were not accidental but well-planned strikes. Russia is deliberately endangering nuclear safety in Europe. We call for an urgent meeting of the IAEA Board of Governors to respond to these unacceptable risks. We also urge all states that value nuclear safety, particularly China and India, to demand Russia stop reckless attacks on nuclear energy that risk a catastrophic incident. There needs to be global pressure to force Moscow to stop its nuclear blackmail.

These children were killed by Russia – by its war. Boys and girls whose lives were cut short by Russian strikes and shelling, by hostilities that Ukraine never wanted for even a second – but from which we have been forced to defend ourselves for years already. It is on June 4 that we honor the memory of all such children. Today, we still do not know the exact number of those killed, as we have no access to the temporarily occupied territories. It is yet to be determined how many adults and children killed by Russia are buried in mass graves near Mariupol and other cities and villages destroyed by Russia. The world must neither forget nor forgive Russia for this terrible pain and aggression – this totally unprovoked and criminal Russian war against Ukraine. In memory of every child killed, in memory of every human life destroyed, there must be real global solidarity – from all across Europe, all across the the U.S., and all other parts of the world – so that Russia is held accountable for its actions and is forced to return the peace it stole from Ukraine and Ukrainians. @United24media

The world slept through the rebirth of Nazism at 5 a.m. on February 24, 2022. And today, everyone who remembers World War II and has survived to this day feels a sense of déjà vu. The Battle of Kyiv, the bombings of Kharkiv, Odesa, and Dnipro, mass graves, child deportations, filtration camps, and colonies for captives. Russia has brought pages from World War II textbooks back into the global media spotlight, demonstrating that Nazism has resurfaced with each new crime. This time, it simply has a new label: "Made in Russia." And, as in 1945, only a united free world—united in the Anti-Putin Coalition—can stop the Moscow Nazis through action rather than words. Such a world can keep the new evil from spreading across the entire European continent, and eventually the entire world. Such a world is capable of demonstrating its commitment to the words "Never again!" so that they become relevant again.

We held a nearly three-hour, highly specific meeting on drones with military and government officials. We revised and specified production plans for all types of drones this year, including FPV, bombers, reconnaissance, and long-range drones for special missions. We discussed how to ensure our defense industry's flexibility. Frontline needs are constantly changing, and our manufacturers must respond in a timely manner. Important decisions were made to streamline procurement procedures and component imports, increase the production of charges for drones, and train operators. Another decision is the project to build an integrated electronic warfare control system to protect our warriors and equipment from Russian UAVs. It is already being tested in certain areas. We intend to scale it up to the entire front.
