I came to the UK as an asylum seeker after escaping radicalised Afghanistan. I built a life here, got married, raised two children, and taught them loyalty, values, and ‘British patriotism’. 🇬🇧 My kids were born here. They speak the language, live the British way, and I always told them: “You are British, Afghanistan is not your identity.” But when their school started teaching them Islamic studies, I stood up and said: “This is a Christian land, if you want to teach religion, teach them Christianity first.” I came here with respect for this country, and raised my family to do the same. “We didn’t come to change Britain.
