That's right I used PowerShell on a Mac, to build a SQLServer-on-Linux container. All inside of @AzureDataStudio FTW!
I had a ton of fun writing this article.
Huge thanks to @dbafromthecold whose video for @sqlpowershell VG inspired me to try this! ๐

Given the changes in mobility happening with eBikes, this is truly worth considering.
However, given the computerirization of vehicles today, we could also consider not letting young males have fast acceleration and top speed. Just program their "key" that way.
Welcome to what is widely regarded as the hardest level of parenting: 3 kids.
I have no idea why so many parents of four children rate three children as harder.
I used to question those parents who use those kid leash things when theyโre out and about with their kids.
Our son is 3 months old, so we took all three kids out in New York City for the first time today.
Everythingโs going well, and suddenly our 2.5 year old daughter turns into an out of control race horse.
Wife and I chasing her among hundreds of people, sheโs zigging and zagging, climbing and hopping over everything like a mini navy sea as she lost all listening skills.
Iโm running with the baby, dodging people; trying to keep up with my wife as she tries to keep up with our daughter. We both also have strollers, and we mostly trust that our 6.5 year old is keeping up in the mayhem.
Other parents help stop her. Iโm sweating. We finally catch up with her, catch our breath, and the calmness returns.
Until the entire things starts again.
Give me that leash thing now, for the sake and safety of our family.
I need a decent can microphone to be able to talk into. ๐ฅซ ๐ค
It doesn't have to be fancy because I'm not doing podcasts or anything. I just need to make sure that I'm able to talk directly into the mic.
Does anyone have any recommendations for a decent mic like that?
Me, yesterday when I realized there was a mutation I didn't catch and I needed to get it back on track. ๐
Except I was the cat and Claude was the Husky.
This sounds awesome. I have to try this! ๐

Very cool story. Read the whole tweet! ๐
Yesterday Mark Cuban reposted my work, DM'd me, and told me to keep telling my story.
So here it is.
I'm a Master Electrician. IBEW Local 369. 15 years pulling wire in Kentucky. Zero coding background. I didn't go to Stanford. I went to trade school.
Every week I'd show up to a home where someone just bought a Tesla or a Rivian. And every time, someone had already told them they needed a $3,000-$5,000 panel upgrade to install a charger.
70% of the time? They didn't need it.
The math is in the NEC โ Section 220.82. Load calculations. But nobody was doing them for homeowners. Electricians upsell. Dealers don't know. And the homeowner just pays.
I got angry enough to build something about it.
I found @claudeai. No coding experience. I just started talking to it like I'd explain a job to an apprentice. "Here's how load calcs work. Here's the NEC code. Now help me build a tool that does this."
6 months later โ @ChargeRight is live. Real software. Stripe payments. PDF reports. NEC 220.82 calculations automated. $12.99 instead of a $500 truck roll.
I'm still pulling wire. I still take service calls. I wake up at 5:05 AM for work.
But something shifted.
Yesterday @vivilinsv published my story as Claude Builder Spotlight #1. Mark Cuban saw it. The Claude community showed up. And for the first time, I felt like this thing I built in my kitchen might actually matter.
I'm not a tech founder. I'm a dad who wants to coach little league and be home for dinner. I just happened to build something that helps people.
If you're in the trades and thinking about using AI โ do it. The barrier isn't technical skill. It's believing you're allowed to try.

It's amazing what you can do with some creativity and a few handy, but not unlimited, resources.
What China continues to do better than the West is to experiment and be creative. Not only in robotics, as recently demonstrated at the Robot Olympics, but also in truly significant areas such as here, where drones are being used to fight fires.
The fact that China suffers from embargoes promotes its creativity, as DeepSeek has proven. This creativity should serve as a lesson to us.
The output of AI just keeps getting better and better. I use it every day at work! ๐
