We are starting to collect books for our next Kids Bookmail for Incarcerated Parents event in June. We are working on getting donations but you can also buy specific kids books for this event from our Kids Book Drive Wish List : copperfieldsbooks.com/wishli…

Last week we bought a bunch of craft supplies for the SQ library. The library staff had the idea to provide materials for Mother’s Day card making. We hope to start sponsoring regular craft events at the San Quentin Library! Check out the flyer that will be posted around SQ.

Thanks to everyone who has supported us during our first year!

We need help getting Yellow Pages from population centers in California for offline reference work at SQ Library. Can you help? You can order them for your area and send to us! Please email [email protected] - Thanks!

Today we are buying a dozen of these for the San Quentin Library and the Prison Literacy Mentoring Project. Thanks for your support! Your donations make purchases like this happen.

After overcoming many hurdles - permissions, backordered, shipping delays, delivery delays - the couch you all helped us buy for the San Quentin Library has finally arrived. THANKS! It’s going to make the patron space look a bit more comfortable and inviting!
