I had it in my head that I wanted the Silence=Death in my #AnimalCrossing House (along with a Keith Haring image). Then I hear today that Larry Kramer has died. RIP, and #ACTUP’s fight was a benefit to more than the Gay community. We’re all human. 1/2

This is just scratching the surface. What else aren't people seeing that is happening behind closed doors? The voter fraud that is taking place must be investigated at the root level.

These machines have notoriously bad touch screens.
But it is concerning that people in multiple states are reporting this error consistently and only in one direction…
Especially since we know Trump asked the DHS about hacking voting machines and the company was bought out by a MAGA supporter.
I assume this is still horrific touch screen calibration on cheap sensors - but it is worth it to be paranoid this year.
Check your vote carefully and request a paper ballot if any doubt!!

BREAKING: In a stunning move, Republicans are openly airing ads calling out Ken Paxton as someone who is NOT a man of god. Something crazy is happening in Texas. This needs to be shared everywhere.

Trump’s family has made BILLIONS selling the presidency. He takes bribes for pardons. His ambassador got caught in a pay-to-play scheme. A jury found him guilty on 34 felony fraud counts.
JD lecturing us about fraud is like George Santos teaching a resume-writing workshop.

It’s 4:30am. I’m on my way to campaign for @AbdulElSayed.
Waking up to news that GOP is doubling down on their disgusting attacks on @amyactonoh in Ohio.
They have no answer for costs, the war, corruption.
So they are going to run the most vile closing campaign in our history.

Trump is obsessed with Putin and Xi Jinping because he loves dictators who can do whatever they like. No transparency. No accountability. They can silence the press, jail their critics and answer to nobody. My latest with @anneapplebaum

Threatening to withhold compensation from veterans and families harmed by Camp Lejeune's contaminated water based on how North Carolina votes?
These families have suffered enough. Their care and compensation should never be political bargaining chips.
This is beyond disgusting.

🎥 Vivek Ramaswamy just put a 12-year-old’s rapist’s wife on camera to attack her own daughter… because he’s losing.
One again proving: Vivek, Trump & MAGA are the biggest pieces of shit we’ve always known them to be.

Absolutely incredible!
Neil Bush, brother of one President Bush & son of another President Bush, just posted that he voted for @JamesTalarico. Neil still lives in the same neighborhood as father did for decades here in Houston.

This article broke my heart. This is what regular Americans are going through under Trump.
After the hottest summer on record, residents in Oklahoma are getting letters from their local utility giving them a fixed number of days to pay their summer bill or face disconnection.
NYT: ““The summer had just ended, and they had just gotten the bill for all of that electricity, and it was far more than their monthly income, almost $1,500.
It also came with a bold lettered disconnection notice that said they had nine days left to pay.
My colleague Eli Saslow says that for the couple he met, Genia and Darryl, it's not just about the lights may be going off.
A disconnection would mean they also couldn't run the oxygen machine or the CPAP they depend on. Eli says he saw how the couple tried to limit their electric bill by more or less moving their whole life into the living room where the AC is, hanging curtains from the doorways to keep the cool air in, sleeping there, eating there, but all that still wasn't enough.”
The couple tried to go to churches charity thrift shops, tried to get doctors notes, to help pay the bill, but everyone was overwhelmed by clients having the same issue, and facing having their electrical turned off.
The utility said they needed the higher rates to perform maintenance on their system, in part to keep up with increased demand coming from data centers:
“But the utility company in that part of Oklahoma, which is called PSO, says it's facing its own pressure.
The grid is old and needs updating. These hot summers also are straining electrical companies because they need to provide more power. And also, there are a huge number of what they call large load customers coming onto the grid.
These are new businesses and in some cases, new data centers for artificial intelligence that are going to increase the demand for electricity like never before.”
What an incredible and heartbreaking story about what regular Americans are facing.

from the Ukrainian winner of the Nobel peace prize
I have read dozens of outraged posts because the US special envoy Witkoff called Putin a "humanist." But no one is writing about the fact that the American negotiators are simply not doing their job. Let me explain.
Peace negotiations are important in their own right. Even if they do not lead to a lasting peace, the process itself is an opportunity to resolve urgent humanitarian issues. If, of course, the human dimension is a priority for the negotiators. But it is entirely obvious that neither Witkoff nor Kushner cares about people's fates in this war.
The Pope calls on Putin to save thousands of people from starvation in occupied Oleshky and the surrounding villages. The UN speaks about a humanitarian catastrophe and asks Russia to allow the evacuation of the civilian population. European Parliament Vice-President Pina Picierno goes on a hunger strike to draw attention to this tragedy unfolding before the eyes of the whole world.
And what are Witkoff and Kushner doing?
That's right, almost nothing.
Except for passing along greetings from Putin’s aide to the First Lady.
Thousands of people are already eating grass to survive and begging to save their lives. The Ukrainian side raises the issue of Oleshky at every meeting. And I can name dozens of such urgent humanitarian issues off the top of my head where American negotiators must be proactive.
Trump’s peace negotiations have already gone down in history as the deadliest years for Ukraine’s civilian population since the start of the full-scale invasion.
I don’t know if anyone will remember the names of Witkoff and Kushner.
But history will certainly record how American negotiators, who had the opportunity to save a huge number of people, refused to raise uncomfortable questions before "humanist Putin."

Trump said: “When I’m gone, you’re all going to be broke.” Truer words have never been spoken. He has plundered, robbed and bilked the whole country for himself and his family. That’s what disgorgement is all about. Disgorgement—please practice this very fine word.

The stated position of the Trump administration is that the President of Russia is a humanitarian and that the President of Ukraine should be removed from office.
The American electorate have a chance to make their feelings about this known in less than two weeks.
U.S. envoy Steve Witkoff praised Russian President Vladimir Putin as "a humanitarian" following the release of U.S. citizen Stephen Hubbard on Wednesday. During a meeting in St. Petersburg, Witkoff thanked Putin for freeing the American — whom the U.S. government had declared wrongfully detained — and lauded the Russian autocrat, who ordered the ongoing full-scale invasion of Ukraine almost five years ago.
Witkoff was in Russia as Trump administration and Russian officials were set to have talks focused on the Ukraine war.

As I pointed out about Trump and his circle years ago, it’s not just that they lie, it’s that their lies always echo Russian talking points. It’s not a coincidence. You can arrive independently at the truth, but not at the same lie.
