The total budget is $833billion this year. In 2019 it was $460billion BUT OUR INTEREST RATES ARENT ABOUT GOVERNMENT OVERSPEND!!!!!!!
Today's decision by the RBA was widely expected, but that doesn't make it any easier for families and businesses. It's difficult news for many Australians who are already paying a hefty price for circumstances outside their control. We take responsibility for our part of the fight against inflation, which is why we're finding savings at the same time as we roll out relief.

In September 2018, Anthony Albanese demanded Peter Dutton resign after a Senate committee found he had misled Parliament over au pair visa interventions, declaring that honesty before Parliament was an essential requirement under Westminster conventions… facebook.com/share/v/1CK1Hbu…

Australia bet big on hydrogen made from renewables and lost billions. Now, one of Australia's largest miners may soon cut production and jobs. The cause was a set of catastrophic decisions by Labor leaders and Fortescue's founder, Andrew "Twiggy" Forrest.

Anthony Albanese has done something no Australian prime minister has ever done before. He's taken a free trade agreement — a document that is supposed to be about buying and selling — and he's stuffed it full of climate ideology until it's barely recognisable as trade at all. This isn't a free trade deal. It's a climate agreement wearing a trade deal as a disguise. Here's what his own government's documents admit. DFAT published a paper titled "Benefits for Trade, Environment and Climate," and buried in it is this line: for the first time in a free trade agreement, Australia has made a binding commitment to implement the obligations under the Paris Agreement. Not a reference. Not a nod. A binding commitment. And the same document says the agreement can be suspended over serious violations of climate obligations. So if a future Australian government — any government, Labor or Liberal — decides the Paris targets are too expensive, too punishing, too destructive to our economy, Europe can drag us before a dispute panel and suspend the deal. That's not sovereignty. That's a leash. And Albanese knows exactly what he's doing. Ursula von der Leyen stood in our own Parliament and said she was proud to have made decarbonisation a defining pillar of this agreement. A defining pillar. In a trade deal. The woman running Europe didn't hide it. She celebrated it. And our Prime Minister sat there and smiled. Now let's talk about what these targets actually mean for ordinary Australians. The 2030 target is a forty-three percent cut below two thousand and five levels. The Climate Change Authority itself admits emissions need to more than double their current rate of reduction to get there in four years. The Institute of Public Affairs ran the numbers and found that meeting the twenty thirty-five target of sixty-two to seventy percent would require the equivalent of a two hundred and ninety billion dollar tax burden over a decade. That's not a rounding error. That's a generation of wealth confiscated in the name of a theory that Europe itself is quietly walking back as its own industries collapse. And here's the kicker that should make every Australian furious. The European Union has told us point blank — once negotiations are done, they're done. Don Farrell repeated it. There is no reopening. There is no amendment. Whatever is written in that text is written in stone, and it binds not just Albanese but every prime minister who comes after him. This is a man who can't win a debate on climate policy at the ballot box, so he's outsourcing it to Brussels. He's taking the most contentious, most divisive policy in Australian politics and locking it into an international treaty so that even if the people vote him out, the ideology survives him. That's not governance. That's entrenchment. Why is any of this in a trade deal in the first place? Because the far left has learned that you can't sell climate destruction directly to voters, so you smuggle it in through the back door of agreements nobody reads. You attach it to something people want — cheaper wine, more beef exports — and hope they don't notice the poison pill. And when the Coalition objects, Albanese calls them nativist and protectionist. He turns legitimate sovereignty concerns into a culture war so he doesn't have to answer the actual question: why should a future elected Australian government be unable to change its own energy policy without asking permission from Europe? But before we get to the treaty, let's look at what the green agenda has already done to this country on its own. Because the damage isn't theoretical. It's on every power bill in Australia right now. Household electricity bills are up thirty-five percent since the start of twenty twenty-two. Gas is up forty-nine percent.

“Maybe one day it will dawn on the minister (Bowen) and the Albanese government that the electorate is not populated by mugs. Credibility is not a renewable resource”

MORE BOM DATA FUDGING EXPOSED The Bureau of Meteorology has been caught out transcribing raw written weather records incorrectly onto their databases. For years I have tried to expose the data tampering by the Bureau of Meteorology in order to distort climate records. I’ve been constantly ridiculed throughout my political career as being unqualified to comment on the issue because I’m not a “scientist”. Yet this has never been about science. It’s about record keeping plain and simple, and the integrity of those records. Something that I was qualified to speak about given my 25 years in managing financial records and studying statistics up to Masters level. Whats particularly frustrating about this is that this isn’t the first time the BOM has exposed for fudging records and yet they are continually allowed to get away with it. This includes the media continuing to report their records used to promote “climate change” as though they are the gospel. If you want to fight this corruption then sign up to Peoplefirstparty.au today. •••••••••••••••• “A forensic audit has uncovered false readings and widespread errors in the Bureau of Meteorology's raw climate data, including blocks of temperature readings copied and pasted across different years and seasons, raising questions about the integrity of records used for climate analysis. Anomalies in the BOM's online temperature records ranged from whole months of duplicated data decades apart to statistically impossible whole weeks of identical temperatures to one decimal place. The data errors are not just historical, with the audit, conducted with pattern-recognition software, finding more than 40 per cent of the flagged entries or events dated after 1990. Mr Berger said none of the findings required any knowledge of climate science but were purely data-integrity failures that would disqualify any dataset in any other field of science. Mr Berger undertook the audit with retired scientist Geoffrey Sherrington who said he lived by the motto "trust, but verify". "We are concerned that government policies like net zero are informed by data represented as raw and unadjusted when under investigation by our forensic pattern analysis programs, that is incorrect," Mr Sherrington said.”

No They don’t
Does the average punter realise that by blocking mining (for ideological reasons) that the long term effect will be less government expenditure on the social infrastructure that provides us with the standard of living we have become accustomed to?

But what if the Treasurer is you Jim? #auspol
Another speech this morning from the Treasurer which fails to take responsibility for the fact productivity has gone backwards in every quarter on his watch. That’s what happens when there’s no plan to turn the economy around. More finger-pointing & spin won’t cut it. #auspol

My feeling is that we won’t have to wait that long, that’s the good news. The bad news is we’ll probably have yet another term of this parasitic government because of the fracturing of the conservative vote. Voters need to do some homework before they vote and number their own preferences if we’re to have any hope, but we know the majority probably won’t.

If you don't have good position in a debate, remove the opponent. Where have we seen that before?
Latest WA Govt advert said renewables were the cheapest power & they were building infrastructure to connect more of it to the grid PLUS helping people get batteries so they could disconnect from the grid. How does that even make sense?

News24 host Chris Kenny calls out Prime Minister Anthony Albanese for treating Australian voters like “fools”. “The man who said he wouldn’t touch negative gearing and capital gains tax says One Nation is dishonest,” Mr Kenny said. “He's made working families poorer, rents higher, homes harder to buy, electricity prices higher, taxes higher, debt higher, inflation higher, the cost of living higher, and he says it's One Nation that's not on the side of working people,” Mr Kenny said. news24.com.au/politics/austr…

I think we need an intelligence assessment to vote 🤔 .That would save me time on polling day
Think this would be a good idea in Australia As I recall, I had to verbally give my name, verbally confirm my address You’d hope the electoral role here was updated the week of polling day
