Have people been talking enough about R v Ellis, 2022 BCCA 278? Great decision for sentencing. Adopts a lot of Morris, ONCA, and adds to it. "Non-indigenous offenders can also present background (cultural or otherwise) information as a basis for diminished moral culpability."
