Santa Paula High School: Continuing on the theme: The Freeman Eakin auditorium under construction in 1939! This was taken from the walkway in front of the elevator (the elevator was installed in the 1980s I think).

Yep, you're right! Not sure if it's just the stage curtains (I think the lights are all electric). J. Cruz is the expert on that. I've been teaching at SPHS for 27 years - some things have changed, but a lot is still the same.
