🧵 GW9 My Team & Final Thoughts Into the top 100 after another good GW! 📈 My team isn’t ideally set up this week, with FIVE players involved in Hearts v Celtic, but I’m almost certainly ROLLING all my transfers. I’d rather accept a potentially difficult GW9 and go into GW10 with 7 transfers to reshape my squad. Here’s my thinking 👇 #FantasySPFL #FFScotland

The other GW10 decisions: 🔸 Gullan – injury concerns and I’d like to move him on, but no obvious replacement at his price. 🔸 Ramsay – another likely sell, potentially to Sterling if I can free up funds elsewhere. 🔸 Nisbet – still a hold, but another Aberdeen blank would make me reconsider. 🔸 Supersub – I still want a permanent option, but don’t see a compelling transfer this week. Walton + Randall remain easy holds while Dundee United continue performing.

👑 CAPTAIN: Ryan Naderi Very close between Naderi and Nisbet, but Rangers have the stronger projected goals and I expect Naderi to be heavily involved. Supersub will depend on the line-ups. Gullan could be an option if benched, otherwise I'll take a punt rather than force a transfer. So the plan: ✅ Roll transfers 🐻 Target Rangers triple-up in GW10 👀 Reassess Hibs, Nisbet, Gullan and Ramsay 🔄 Restructure with 7 transfers Sometimes the best move is doing nothing. Good luck! 🤞

💡 GW9 Fantasy Analysis 🐻 Rangers (2.60) and 🍀 Celtic (2.42) dominate the attacking projections, making their key attackers strong captaincy options. Would lean Rangers here though. 🧤 Hibs (37%) and Aberdeen (35%) lead the clean sheet odds despite poor form so playing defenders from either a good option if you own. 🟢 Hibs (1.71) also offer attacking potential against Falkirk, while Motherwell (1.44) still remain high if you own any attackers. ❤️ Hearts face a particularly tough trip to Celtic, with just a 9% clean sheet chance. I'd be looking elsewhere for defensive points this week. They are still at 1.39 projected goals for playing the likes of Miller and McPake.

📊 GW9 TRANSFER TARGETS | Fantasy SPFL 🧵 This week’s targets focus on teams combining good form, favourable fixtures and genuine value. Rather than covering all the obvious, widely owned assets, I’m looking at opportunities to gain an advantage. Rangers and Dundee United stand out, alongside some interesting options at Aberdeen, St Johnstone and Kilmarnock. Let’s get into it!👇 #FantasySPFL #FFScotland

🟠 DUNDEE UNITED | Two more to consider 🛡️ Ciubotaru (£5.3m) – attacking left-back with a goal already this season. Gets forward, contributes tackles and takes some set pieces. With Will Ferry injured, he’s an attractive short-term option, although minutes could become an issue when Ferry returns. 💰 Zidane Iqbal (£4.6m) – excellent budget enabler. Tackles, some set pieces and occasional attacking returns make him useful even from the bench. I’d avoid United’s strikers until there’s a clearer first-choice number nine. I’m also leaving Hibs players out this week given Celtic in GW10 and uncertainty over attacking minutes.

📊 MY GW9 TRANSFER TARGETS SHORTLIST ⭐ Priority targets • Naderi – £7.5m • Penrice – £6.1m • Walton – £4.9m • Randall – £6.4m • Cameron – £7.1m ✅ Other strong options • Sterling – £5.8m • Fowler – £6.9m • Nisbet – £9.1m 🎯 Differentials / budget picks • Hugill – £5.9m • Ciubotaru – £5.3m • Iqbal – £4.6m • Gassama – £6.8m • Bennie – £6.0m For me, the biggest opportunities are in Rangers’ defence and Dundee United’s upcoming fixtures. Who are you bringing in for GW9? 👇

🚨 GW9 STRATEGY THREAD 🧵 8 gameweeks in, we’re starting to get a much clearer picture of which teams and players we should be targeting in SPFL Fantasy. For me, it’s now about combining 3 things: ✅ Team form 📊 Upcoming fixtures ⭐ Reliable, high-performing players Here’s how I’m looking to structure my squad going forward. 👇 #FantasySPFL #FFScotland

My ideal squad structure So, putting everything together, here’s roughly how I’m approaching squad construction: 🔵 Rangers: Aim for three, given their form, fixtures and lack of European commitments. 🍀 Celtic: Nygren and Duran as core holds, with the third spot flexible. ❤️ Hearts: Miller and McPake as core holds. Monitor other options. 🟠 Dundee United: Maintain some coverage, even through tougher fixtures. ⭐ Aberdeen/St Johnstone: Nisbet and Fowler are standout individual options. 📈 Dundee: Attractive from GW10. 👀 Hibs/Motherwell/Kilmarnock: More selective, depending on form, roles and fixtures. The aim isn’t to create one identical template for everyone. It’s to identify a reliable core and leave enough flexibility to exploit opportunities elsewhere.

Final thoughts With 8 gameweeks of evidence, I think we can now be much more strategic. Rather than constantly chasing last week’s points, I’m looking to: ✅ Establish a core of reliable long-term holds ✅ Prioritise the strongest, most in-form teams ✅ Identify talismanic players at weaker clubs ✅ Plan transfers around upcoming fixture swings ✅ Avoid unnecessary changes when the squad is performing well I’m pretty happy with my own squad at the moment and may only make one transfer this week. That’s not necessarily a bad thing when you’ve got three available. Tomorrow: My GW9 transfer targets, including a closer look at Rangers, Dundee, Kilmarnock and some of the individual players mentioned above. I’ll also share my own team and transfer plans ahead of Friday’s deadline as well 👀 Plenty to think about! 👊
