When a business cancels an event about anti-Semitism, it’s fair to say it’s for a reason other than Israel, or Gaza, or anything other than anti%-Semitism.
The Herbert Park Hotel in Ballsbridge, Dublin cancelled a booking for 70 rooms upon learning the booking of the rooms was for a group of people from 27 EU states attending a conference in Dublin this week on antisemitism associated with Ireland’s EU presidency. A vile illustration of the issue to be addressed.

The Nobel committee chair says they have "great faith" in Navi Pillay's integrity, but whether the Hamas-Israel war can be called a genocide is for the ICJ to decide, not them.
Then why give the Peace Prize to the person whose commission already decided it, with no authority to do so?
This is the same Navi Pillay who:
🚩 Signed a 2020 statement calling on governments to "Sanction Israel," then was appointed a year later to chair the UN inquiry into Israel without disclosing it
🚩 Defended a fellow commissioner who said social media is "controlled largely by the Jewish lobby," calling him "deliberately misquoted." He later apologized for his antisemitism himself
🚩 Ran the 2009 Durban conference that Ahmadinejad opened with an antisemitic speech, after dismissing Jewish groups' warnings as a "lobbying campaign"
🚩 Criticized the US in 2014 for funding Iron Dome to protect Israeli civilians from rockets, with no mention of Hamas firing them
They handed her the world's most famous honour two days after the October 7 anniversary and then said they're not taking a position on what she's known for.
So what do they mean by "peace"?

I hope in the interests of balance, that a @RTELateLateShow invite has been extended to @little_pengelly as well as Michelle O'Neill, who has already been on several times.
I also hope that, rather than a propaganda exercise from @PatricKielty , that the latter is asked fair questions about why protesters were bussed in to Garvaghy from republican clubs in west Belfast before a court had even ruled, why they were directed through megaphone by a former IRA man Martin Lynch, why groups sang IRA songs like My Old Mans a Provo, and how we ever sort this place out and tell citizens not to break the law when the most senior politician here says it's ok to do it if you think it's right.
It is so febrile that a deliberate soft soap propaganda exercise now, would be irresponsible broadcasting. Let's see.

He shot the first girl in the back as she desperately tried to escape. The second froze, turned around, and begged him not to kill her.
He executed her anyway, without the slightest hesitation.

In the Middle East, a bunch of incredibly brave Israelis thwart a plane hijack, and a 9/11-style attack on Tel Aviv.
And to cap it all, the Hamas-run Gaza Ministry of Health releases mortality figures that totally destroy claims of a genocide since October 2023.
