There is a silent tragedy unfolding in Nigeria. A generation entered its 20s with dreams of careers, homes, marriage and children. Now many are in their 30s, still struggling to afford the very life they dreamt of. A generation grew older, but couldn't move forward. Thread 👇

Have you paid someone to buy federal government job before, what was the outcome?

EBID data (Ecowas Bank for Investment and Development) revealed that Nigeria accounts for more than 60% of West Africa's unemployed population this year 2026. But the good news is that a Peter Obi presidency will prioritize job creation which would in turn reduce poverty & improve living standards. Vote Peter Obi for President at the polls in 2027 for massive job creation for all. Nigeria will be OK with Peter Obi !✌️

I made this in memory of our heroes who lost their lives at the Lekki Toll Gate on 20-10-2020. WHAT THEY STARTED, WE WILL FINISH 📌

Someone takes time out of their day to comment on your post, and you can't even acknowledge them. Meanwhile, you expect strangers to keep showing up for you. Never underestimate how much a little reciprocity can do for both your contents and that of your mutuals.

When you are always the understanding one, people can become comfortable never understanding you. You accommodate their moods, forgive their mistakes, make excuses for their absence and consider their circumstances.

But when you finally need the same patience, the relationship suddenly feels different. Being understanding should not mean becoming permanently responsible for understanding everyone else.

Happy birthday to our incoming vice president of the Federal Republic of Nigeria. May your efforts for a new Nigeria never be in vain ✌️✌️

ENDSARS LEKKI TOLL GATE: NEVER FORGET OCTOBER 20, 2020 Today, October 20, 2026, marks the sixth anniversary of the Lekki Toll Gate shootings, a painful reminder of the price Nigerian youths paid in their demand for a better country. On that fateful night, peaceful #EndSARS protesters were met with gunfire. Lives were lost, many were injured, and the nation was left with questions about justice, accountability, and the sanctity of human life. We must never forget. We must never normalise injustice. As we remember the victims, I reaffirm my belief that a New Nigeria is possible—a country where citizens are protected, not brutalised; where young people are heard, not silenced; and where government power is exercised with responsibility and respect for human rights. Nigeria must become a nation where no citizen is punished for demanding good governance and a better future. May the souls of the departed continue to rest in peace. May their sacrifice strengthen our resolve to build a Nigeria where this tragedy will never be repeated. A New Nigeria is POssible. A Nigeria where every life matters. -PO

Nigerians complain about labour cost but they're always quick to conclude that an average Nigerian artisan is poor with finishing. If you want it cheap, someone is out there that'll always do the same job at cheaper rate. If you want the best pay for the value they offer.
Guys doing normal stamped concrete design said this job will cost me 600k plus I will be the one to buy materials Omo na so I rush go bring menson men, borrowed empty container of beer and they delivered nice job. 120k. Design na design 😂

You don't have to be famous to make someone else's day on X. A thoughtful comment, a genuine repost, or a conversation with a smaller account can make a difference. Stop treating everybody like a competitor. There are enough interesting people here for us to discover one another.

Instead of paying X ₦10,000 monthly when you haven’t received a payout in the past four months, subscribe to ChatGPT for about ₦8,000 monthly. Instead of subscribing to 10 different accounts on X and spending about ₦10,000 monthly, invest that money in Google Flow for AI video creation. Use one month to learn how to create AI videos. Here’s how to go about it: 1. ChatGPT: Use it to generate story ideas, write scripts, and create prompts for your videos. 2. Google Flow: Use it to turn those stories and prompts into AI-generated videos. Facebook: Create an account where you can publish your videos. YouTube: Open a channel and upload your videos consistently. TikTok: Create an account and post your videos there, too. 🤝

Permit me to say this, Nearly all the woman in Lagos are actually Beggers and thieves in disguise... People who claim to set a standard that their father couldn't provide for them on another man's pocket, what do you call that??? Its is called "refined begger" They know that if they beg a man to send them 100k weekly, he will decline it. So they turn it into a standard. "If a man cannot pay me 100k weekly, I will never date him" If you're upset about this, then you're one of them...
Someone wrote a book titled “Nearly all the men in Lagos are mad”, you celebrated it. You said ‘if you are not one of the guys, why are you upset?’ Now someone else has written a book titled “Nearly all the women in Lagos are beggars”, you are convulsing and crying. Why exactly are you wailing? Well let’s ask you the golden question: If you are not a beggar, why are you upset?

You want people to read your thoughts, laugh at your jokes, discuss your opinions, and celebrate your wins. That's Fair enough. But how often do you do the same for others? Attention is a two-way street. You cannot keep demanding what you never give.

Don't get so caught up building your future that you forget to live today. Make time for the people who matter. Laugh, connect, make memories. Life isn't just about where you're going, but who you share it with along the way. Purpose is the fuel. 🔥

Women want a financially stable partner but have no interest in building with the man. They want emotional maturity but cannot apologise. They demand loyalty while keeping other options open.

Before asking whether someone meets your standards, ask whether you are prepared to meet the standards you set for them.

Nigeria In Focus: At The Roundtable in Paris, France Today, I participated in a roundtable discussion at the European Council on Foreign Relations (ECFR) office in Paris, France. The dialogue brought together policymakers, diplomats, development experts, representatives of international organisations, and members of the international media to discuss Nigeria’s future and its role in an increasingly interconnected world. Our discussions focused on development cooperation and the need to strengthen bilateral partnerships that can accelerate economic growth, improve the lives of our people, create productive opportunities, and support sustainable national development. I reiterated my firm belief that Nigeria possesses the human and natural resources required to become a united, secure, prosperous, and globally competitive nation. What we need is competent, accountable, and compassionate leadership that prioritises investment in people, education, healthcare, productive enterprise, the rule of law, and strong institutions over a politics of consumption. Nigeria’s future is bright, but realising its promise requires deliberate choices. We must move from consumption to production, from poverty to prosperity, and from wasted potential to shared progress. Through good governance, fiscal responsibility, and mutually beneficial international partnerships, we can build an economy that works for all Nigerians and restore our nation’s rightful standing in the comity of nations. A New Nigeria is POssible. -PO

Social media has made it easier to find a partner and harder to appreciate one. You meet someone, develop a connection, then spend your time comparing them with people who appear richer, more attractive, more romantic or more successful.

At some point, you have to decide whether you want a real relationship or an endless search for a better option.
