🚨"A new report out today accuses both the American Federation of Teachers (AFT) and the National Education Association (NEA) of spending tens of millions of dollars on electing Democratic political candidates, and prioritizing politicking over the needs and interests of their union members. The report, conducted by the Network Contagion Research Institute, Gevura Fund, and Rutgers University, among others, found that of the NEA’s $450 million annual disbursement budget from fiscal year 2025, less than $46 million, or 10 percent, was spent on activities directly representing the union’s constituents."🚨

For @CraigHarrisNews to say that the auditor general determined that 34% of ESA monies were misspent based on a table that analyzed a total of 63 transactions is absurd. Plus, the largest identified issue on the chart was "missing documentation," which doesn't prove that money was misspent. And the footnote at the bottom explicitly stated that these figures should not be used to project for the entire program population. Either he is knowingly lying or he is too dumb to read a table.
This is the table in the Auditor General's report that #LyinCraig is referring to.
Read the whole thing.
NOTE: The report repeatedly says they gathered the data to support their findings, which puts the cart before the horse. Even so, they say not to extrapolate.
