In case you believe that the primary appeal of a jam is my personal presence (obviously this is a common enough occurrence for me to say something about it), it's probable I'll attend @BTNMathsJam at some point owing to my acceptance to Sussex University to study maths! Exciting.
The (for now) final Elms MathsJam concluded with musings upon higher dimensional naughts-and-crosses. Unfortunately, I hadn't the foresight to photograph anything - so I could be lying for all you know.
Tomorrow is possibly the last MathsJam in the Elms for the foreseeable future - despite this, it will just be another regular jam.
Warm-up problem 5:
Add the word "a" or "an" (not just the letters; they must be separate from all other words in the sentence) to a sentence to reverse its meaning.
Warm-up problem 4:
Find x such that x = (n-1) mod(n) for 1<n<9 and x<1000, where x and n are positive integers.

Unfortunately the MathsJam this month at the Elms will not be going ahead because I am significantly more ill than expected. Apologies for any inconvenience.

Warm-up problem 2:
A straight 1-dimensional train track, with two fixed ends 300m apart, expands (evenly along its length) to 301m for some arbitrary reason. What is the maximum displacement of any point on the track?
