Strengthening Maternal and Newborn Health Across Gasabo District
As part of the ongoing SRHR Project, implemented by RSOG in collaboration with @SOGCorg , with support from @GAC_Corporate and led by L'AMIE, essential maternal and newborn health equipment was handed over to Kayanga Health Center, Gikomero Health Center, Bumbogo Health Center, and Gatsata Health Center in Gasabo District.
The donated equipment will support healthcare providers in delivering quality maternal and newborn healthcare services, strengthening facility capacity and improving access to essential care for women, newborns, and families within the project's catchment area.
Through continued investments in healthcare infrastructure, equipment, training, and mentorship, we are working together to strengthen health systems and improve maternal and reproductive health outcomes across Rwanda.
We extend our sincere appreciation to our partners and the dedicated healthcare teams who continue to advance quality care for women and newborns.

Today, RSOG, in collaboration with SOGC and with support from Global Affairs Canada, donated essential maternal and newborn health equipment to Kibagabaga Level II Teaching Hospital (LIITH).
The donation included patient beds, fetal Dopplers, IV stands, bed covers, and infusion pumps, all aimed at strengthening the hospital's capacity to provide quality maternal and newborn healthcare services.

Advancing clinical excellence for safer childbirth.
RSOG, in collaboration with SOGC, recently brought together OBGYN specialists and residents from across Rwanda for the 4th Cohort of the Assisted Vaginal Birth (AVB) Master Class, implemented under the SRHR Project, funded by Global Affairs Canada and led by L'AMIE.

Strengthening Skills for Safer Births
Healthcare professionals from across Rwanda are participating in the ongoing Assisted Vaginal Birth (AVB) Master Class, designed to strengthen knowledge and practical skills in evidence-based obstetric care.
Implemented by RSOG in collaboration with SOGC under the SRHR Project, funded by Global Affairs Canada and led by L'AMIE, the training brings together obstetricians, gynecologists, and OBGYN residents for hands-on learning, mentorship, and experience sharing aimed at improving maternal and newborn outcomes.

Through the SRHR Project, RSOG, in collaboration with SOGC, led by L' AMIE and funded by Global Affairs Canada, provided medical equipment and instruments to the Hospital and 15 health centers in Gasabo District.
