Parents, you need to beware of the critical pedagogy and general critical theories that have infected our Christian institutions. I can name my alma mater @wheatoncollege as being one of the worst among them.

I know how to identify it and speak to any professor, dean, or college president about it if I detect it.
My own kids have been awesome at calling it out. So grateful they see through the lies and speak truth too. And yes, this has been at three Christian colleges.
I refuse to play identity politics and the “all reality is a social construct” game.
I wish we didn’t have a brainwashed generation in America that was taught to see the world through that lens.
Broadly speaking - it’s what socialism and communism want out of us. Just take a look at Europe.
Notice the jacket he has to his side. He is safe speaking there in front of the mic. The minute he leaves that arena he will need a jacket to shield the evil.
You can call it “mockery” or “provocation” and try to sanatize it all you want... But imagery invoking the assassination of the man who founded the organization, displayed directly in front of the people carrying on his work, is intentional attempted intimidation.
Charlie built a platform for people who hated his politics to challenge him to his face. This isn’t debate. It’s invoking political violence when you don’t have an argument.
Open your eyes. This is absolutely a spiritual war.

Three things about antidepressants that almost nobody knows, and each one should bother you more than the last.
First: when your doctor says Prozac, Lexapro, or Zoloft is "safe and effective," the honest version of that sentence is "safe and effective for the year it was studied." The FDA's own chief medical and scientific officer, Vinay Prasad, looked at the ten most prescribed antidepressants in America. Not one has a double-blind, randomized, placebo-controlled trial longer than a year. Seventeen percent of the population takes these drugs, many for decades, and beyond year one, nobody actually knows whether the benefits outweigh the risks. The public believes these are among the most-studied drugs in history. Long term, they barely qualify as studied at all.
Second: the FDA requires no studies on how to get people off these medications after long-term use. None. Millions of people have been on them for years, and the science of safely discontinuing them is a black hole that no drug company has ever been required to fill.
Third, and this is the one I want you to sit with: they aren't even required to make doses you can taper from. Coming off safely means small reductions, far smaller than the tablets that exist. So when people ask me why antidepressant use keeps climbing every year, "the world is more stressful" is only part of the answer. Some of it is simpler and worse: people get on, discover there's no off-ramp built, and stay stuck.
We built a system with an entrance and no exit. That's not a mental health epidemic. That's a design flaw.

82 years ago today, F.A. Hayek published The Road to Serfdom, to warn
people “of the danger of tyranny that inevitably results from government control of economic decision-making through central planning.”
As Hayek notes in the book, the abandonment of individualism inevitably leads to a loss of freedom, the creation of an oppressive society, and the serfdom of the individual.
So naturally, we turned it into a @tuttletwins book (see below)

Hello stupid people everywhere, including those who may not realize they're stupid. You are about to hand the most important capitalist innovation in modern times over to the federal government, and the politicians and bureaucrats who are salivating to control it! Wake the hell up! There's a reason the Democrats want government control over this industry and are spreading lies and fearmongering, and they know once the door is open, they will exploit and run wild. Notice, Obama is now all in.
Once the business is explained to the public, they support it. Is it too complicated for our elected Republicans and their mouthpieces to explain what a windfall this is for local communities, states and, most importantly, the workers/middle class/everyone? Maybe so.

Charlie once said we should be building two statues for every statue that they tear down. His instinct was always to build, not to destroy.
They thought a bullet would silence my husband’s voice but it only made it louder. They think spray paint can obscure his legacy, but it will only spread it further. Every attempt to tear down what Charlie built makes us root deeper and work even harder.
And if you think crossing out the name of Jesus Christ will silence Christians, history has already proved you wrong. We know what it costs to stand firm for Christ and we will stand anyway. God will not be mocked.
We’ll put His name right back where it belongs, clean up the mess, restore Charlie's statue, and keep building.
We will never give up and never surrender.
We will restore the statue and replace the signs, but we are also reviewing the footage of the incident and are working with law enforcement to identify who did this and hold them accountable.
But vandalism like this is not funny, it’s diabolical. The incident happened in the middle of the night because evil never sleeps. Beyond spray painting on the neck and face, they made the intentional decision to cross out the name of Jesus on a nearby sign.

I’m currently in Vegas and will be debating ten trans-identified people tomorrow.
I use the word ‘debating’ loosely as they have nothing of substance to offer.
They push an ideology of permanent harm on children. There is no logical defense for this and never will be.
As the HHS report laid out: “In many areas of medicine, treatments are first established as safe and effective in adults before being extended to pediatric populations. In this case, however, the opposite occurred: clinician-researchers developed the pediatric medical transition protocol in response to disappointing psychosocial outcomes in adults who underwent medical transition.”
In other words, some weren’t happy with how they pass as the opposite sex, so they decided the solution for distressed kids was to stop them from developing. This is a real-life horror show.
The origins of this craze are dark and deeply disturbing. Many of its strongest proponents have paraphilias or sexual perversions. As if to prove this point, several of the individuals who offered themselves up for this debate tomorrow are literal transsexual pornographers. These are not people I would like to speak with but it is what it is.
The very last people who should be advocating for kids are the ones crying loudly and often that it is life-saving care to chemically castrate and sterilize them, cut off their body parts, and turn them into anorgasmic, lifelong pharmaceutical patients.
There is no such thing as a transgender child. Or adult. There are people who don’t conform to stereotypes and that’s fine. They dont need drugs or scalpels to be themselves.
One conversation at a time, we are going to stop this child abuse.

Todd: Hello… Operator… listen to me. I can’t speak very loud. This is an emergency. I’m a passenger on a United flight to San Francisco. Our plane has been hijacked.
Lisa: I understand. Can they see you?
Todd: No. There are three that we know of. They have knives — razor knives, like box cutters. Someone announced from the cockpit there was a bomb. It sounded fake.
Lisa: Your name?
Todd: Todd Beamer. United Flight 93.
Todd: They killed one passenger in first class. They forced most of us back. Fourteen of us here. Five flight attendants. The guy with the bomb ordered us to sit on the floor.
