#Breaking Two B-737s (from Alaska and Southwest Airlines, respectively) were involved in a “possible near collision” in Nashville Inter. Airport (Tennessee, US). No one was hurt.
First reports state the Alaska jet was on its take-off run when the Southwest aircraft crossed the runway, forcing the first´s crew to apply emergency braking that damaged its tires, as seen on the pictures around social media. NTSB confirmed to be investigating the occurrence.
The Alaska Jet [Registration “N919AK”] was operating as Flight 369 – heading to Seattle, and the Southwest Jet [“N225WN”] was heading to Jacksonville.

NEW: Kamala Harris will have a miniature podium during tonight’s debate on ABC against Donald Trump.
The move was requested by Harris’ team who is afraid she will look tiny compared to Trump.
The smaller podium will make it so the candidates look the same size during the televised split screen.
As noted by Axios, Harris and Trump have one of the largest height differences among presidential nominees in United States history.
Trump is 6’3’’ while Harris is 5’4’’.
One Trump campaign official said the smaller podium “looks like the kids table” at Thanksgiving.
