THIS IS A LIE. FAKE NEWS. France isn’t burning because of immigrants. The protests began with FRENCH STUDENTS furious over crumbling schools, overcrowded classrooms and teacher shortages—and exploded as French citizens joined them over the cost of living, wages, pensions, austerity and failing public services. So Trump sees French citizens protesting their own government and does what he always does: Find immigrants. Blame immigrants. Scare Americans. He isn’t explaining what’s happening in France (because the ignorant piece of shit has no idea). He’s exploiting it to manufacture fear 16 days before an election. Good luck!

This is what billionaire ownership of the media means: Mark Zuckerberg’s Meta shut down the No Kings account for hours during the height of their protests. Meta suppressed accounts supporting Brazil President Lula da Silva in the recent election. Larry Ellison’s TikTok blocked advertising for a documentary criticizing Elon Musk. Fight back. Defeat oligarchy. Preserve democracy.

On October 16, 2019, I told Donald Trump, “With you, Mr. President, all roads lead to Putin.” On October 16, 2026, Trump signed an executive order waiving new sanctions on Russia passed by bipartisan majorities in Congress and signed into law just last month. This decision insults America’s commitment to democracy and our brave men and women in uniform, as Russia helps Iran target American forces. I join Republican senators in condemning this unconscionable capitulation to a Russian dictator who illegally invaded Ukraine and butchers innocent civilians. As I have asked for years: What does Putin have on Trump that he would sell out America’s values?

In New Mexico, food and agriculture are a way of life! As somebody who grew up digging ditches and working with my hands, ensuring our farmers and ranchers can thrive and our communities can access food is one of my greatest passions. That’s why I have worked to secure millions to help support our farmers and ranchers, upgrade acequia and irrigation infrastructure, build and support food banks, and lead legislation to address childhood hunger and food insecurity. It’s also why I worked to co-found the Food and Hunger Caucus in the New Mexico state legislature and have passed bipartisan legislation to protect our lands and waters. Because in New Mexico, land, water, and food are culture, history, and a part of who we are! 🐴🌾🐓

Y'all sent me a bunch of these from around Austin on Saturday. They're called fall streak holes, and most of the time a plane makes them. That cloud is made of tiny water drops that are colder than freezing but haven't turned to ice yet. When a plane flies through, the air going over its wings or behind its propellers gets a lot colder for a moment. That's enough to freeze some of those drops. Once a little ice forms, it grows by pulling water out of the drops around it. Those drops disappear, and that's the hole. The ice gets heavy and falls out the bottom. That's the wispy streak in the middle. If the plane flies level through the cloud, you get a long stripe instead of a round hole, like the bottom right one. Since the American President announced the energy ceasefire a week ago, Russia has deliberately attacked Ukraine’s energy and oil and gas sectors 76 times. Last night alone, there were strikes on substations in the Vinnytsia, Zhytomyr, Khmelnytskyi, and Odesa regions. Tens of thousands of families remain without power. Energy workers and repair crews are working virtually around the clock to restore electricity supply. Overnight, the Russians also struck residential buildings in our regions. As of now, 12 people have been reported injured, including two children. Two people have been killed. My condolences to their families and loved ones. This morning, there was a strike on an agricultural enterprise in Volyn. All necessary services are working at the site. In total, over this past week, the Russians have attacked Ukraine with almost 2,700 attack drones, 1,700 aerial bombs, and 66 missiles, most of them ballistic. The main targets of these strikes are energy facilities – the Russians are trying to cause a blackout. And America should see that Russia is not taking any reciprocal steps in response to sanctions relief or agreements. On the contrary, they take every signal of an opportunity to make money as proof that their bet on war is paying off and they can keep fighting. It is because of this position of Russia’s that the war continues, not because Ukraine is rightfully defending itself. It is Russia that must face pressure for peace to have a chance. Thank you to everyone who understands this and helps.

A nor'easter is about to park off the Outer Banks for days. The waves out there could hit 23 feet, and Hatteras Island could get cut off.

Sanctions relief will continue. I think the diesel deal and the move regarding the Lindsey Graham Act are not the end of it. Unfortunately. It’s unfortunate because we all had great respect for Lindsey. He devoted his life to America. We had an excellent relationship with him. And shortly before the tragedy, Lindsey was in Ukraine. He always supported us very strongly and pushed for as much assistance to Ukraine as possible. It’s difficult without him, I’ll be honest. I want to thank both Democrats and Republicans who supported his bill. That was a major victory: this truly bipartisan support. And now, the decision to undo all of this, to block all of it, seems wrong to me. And it definitely helps only the Russians. It only fuels their satisfaction and their desire to keep killing people. This certainly does not stop the war. From answers to journalists’ questions. (1/3)

🔥 “Answer the question, Tommy — I think you’re the one who needs to read the constitution, not me.” @AbdulElSayed skillfully handles a bigoted Islamophobic heckler and exposes him as the true religious zealot in the room.

We don’t use Starlink for our responses inside Russia. We use Starlink to intercept jet-powered “shaheds” that attack our civilians and kill families. Starlink wasn’t turned off – its speed was reduced. And when the speed was reduced, we were unable to intercept a certain number of jet-powered “shaheds.” We couldn’t use a tool that helps protect people. That’s very painful and frustrating. We also use Starlink for mid-range strikes against enemy military targets in our temporarily occupied territories. We couldn’t do that when the restrictions were in place. And third, what matters most is people. Our warriors, who spend weeks and months on the front line, receive food and water delivered by drones using Starlink. Has the speed been fully restored to what it was before? No. Is it being restored now? Yes. From a conversation with media representatives in Brussels. (2/3)

Would be great if American media reported this fact to counter the Trump administration's consistent lies on the subject.
🇵🇱🇺🇦🇺🇸 Sikorski: Since January of last year, the U.S. has not contributed a single cent to the defense of Ukraine. We are doing it, Europe.

🚨 BREAKING: The Trump administration has finalized a rule allowing hunters to lure black and brown bears with donuts, bacon grease, and other food before shooting them at close range in Alaska’s national preserves. The move reverses a Biden-era ban despite warnings from wildlife advocates about risks to bears and public safety. meidasnews.com/news/trump-ad…

🚨🇺🇸 Massie on the Epstein files: If this were a private law firm with just 5% of the DOJ's resources, they would have finished this work before the deadline. They just missed another deadline to report all politicians named in the files, and they're supposed to justify all the redactions they've made. The bigger problem isn't missing deadlines, but what they're redacting from the documents. They're trying to pretend the Privacy Act overrides a law that explicitly says records cannot be withheld to avoid embarrassment. They're also citing FOIA standards, which don't apply to our law. They're trying to claim they don't have to release internal decisions, even though our bill specifically requires them to do so.
