नांगलोई की रहने वाली सोनिया जब संजू उर्फ सलीम जब फोन पर बात करती थी...और घर वाले पूछते थे कि किससे बात कर रही हो...वो कहती भूत से बात कर रही है...लेकिन क्या पता था कि ये भूत नहीं बल्कि संजू के भेष में धूर्त सलीम है. सोनिया संजू उर्फ सलीम के प्यार में इस कदर पागल थी कि वो करवाचौथ के दिन उसके नाम का व्रत रखा...और अपना सारा सामान लेकर संजू उर्फ सलीम के पास जाने के लिए निकल गई..और सलीम नाम का आरोपी उसे अपने साथ ले गया, सोनिया करवाचौथ के दिन घर से निकली लेकिन फिर दोबारा वापस नहीं लौटी...उसका फोन भी स्विच ऑफ आ रहा था..परिवार वाले परेशान थे...और जब वो सोनिया को खोजते हुए संजू उर्फ सलीम के घर पहुंचे तो परिवार वालों ने धमकी दी की घर मत आना नहीं तो काटकर फेंक देंगे

पुलिस के मुताबिक संजू उर्फ सलीम कत्ल की बात कबूल कर ली है, संजू ने पूछताछ में उन्हें बताया कि हत्या की साजिश उसने पहले रच ली थी, और इसके लिए फिर उसने अपने दो साथियों रितिक और पंकज को मिलाया...कार किराए पर ली...और सोनिया को लेकर सीधे रोहतक के लिए निकल पड़ा...मौका देखकर सोनिया की गला दबाकर हत्या कर दी...और फिर उसकी बॉडी को रोहतक के जंगल में दफना दिया।
