We got flagged down at 10th and Pacific for two people that overdosed on fentanyl. If nobody waved us over, both these people would be dead. We need to look out for each other. These are somebodies family….friends. These good citizens just saved two lives.

A person struggling with mental illness called the police because he threatened to jump off the cliffs at Point Fermin. The police rushed down just in time to meet with him and talked him into custody. Now let’s get him the help he needs. Glad things worked out 😮‍💨

Yesterday a suspect assaulted his wife and left. When cops arrive , they heard a loud thud in his backyard. The cops found a bunch of drugs in a bag 😬. We wrote a search warrant and, inside the house, we find over 1,000 grams drugs, almost $2000 in cash, and a loaded gun. 😗.

2 for 1 😬 Southwest cops are watching an attempt murder suspect at 3rd ave and Obama. While watching him, he walks up to another person driving a white car. They run that plate and it comes back stolen 😱😞. Officers show up and arrest both. Never a dull moment here. 👍🏽💥.

Got a call about a son who pointed a gun at his mom. Very tense situation cuz the family was fighting outside while the son was still in the house with the gun 😬. Thank goodness nobody was hurt. Family can be your toughest obstacles sometimes. We can all relate to that. 😞

Sorry for the traffic at 40th and Figueroa! Cops and FD are trying to talk someone off a ledge. The person is suffering from a mental illness and is super duper agitated. FD set up the giant pillow while our crisis negotiations team started calming him down. 🙏

Southwest did amazing work in the☀️. Units chased a stolen Kia with 3 suspects. The car lost control and ended up on the front porch of a house 😬. A perimeter was set up and the three suspects were found with a ton of 💰 and drugs. No one was injured 👍🏽.

The worst kind of tragedy 😞 I went to a call at Toberman and Washington for a car accident. I arrested the driver for DUI Drugs. The opening in the windshield is where her 8 year old son was ejected during the crash. We couldn’t revive him. DUIs ruin Lives. Please be careful.

Today I guided officers to help a 65 yr old woman. Two suspects broke down her door, threw her to the ground. And stole her stuff. We sent down the prints unit, collected DNA, and spent 2 hours helping her. I totally felt her pain. 😥. You target sweet old lady….we got a problem

We are getting slammed with stolen cars 😡😡 One of my units was followed a lojack hit and found the car parked. The team did a great job arresting the driver without any issues. Avoid the area of Vernon and Arlington for 20 minutes or so, traffic a lil backed up. Sorry!!

Another great one! Officers started hunting for stolen Kia’s in the west side of Crenshaw Blvd 👀. They found a Kia without plates driving in the area. Cuz Kia’s get stolen ALOT they did a stop for no plates and found two loaded guns! 😬. Amazing investigation gentlemen!!

Patrol went to a call for a person suffering from mental distress. 😞. This person wanted to go to a hospital with police cuz they felt safer with us than FD. It was a good indicator that southwest patrol cops are treating those struggling with an illness with respect. 🥰

It’s too hot to be outside 🥵. But the Violent Crime Task Force at Southwest Division didn’t mind it. They stopped a car at Vernon and Vermont and found a ghost gun in the car. A ghost gun is a “home-made” gun that is dirt cheap to make and is totally untraceable. 😬.
