There is a legal mechanism called "quo warranto." It is an ancient common law writ that challenges a person's right to hold a public office. It asks "by what authority" do you hold this position. If a person is mentally incapacitated, if they are unable to perform the duties of their office, if they are a puppet for unseen handlers, then they have no legal authority to hold that office. We should be filing quo warranto petitions against Mitch McConnell. We should be demanding proof of his competence.
