Bit of work but have a look at Consumer rights act. If tv was reasonably expected to last longer you should be able to claim money back regardless of what happened but should force their hand if Samsung made it faulty
Anyone else had wrong advice from @SamsungUK official help which has resulted in your tv being damaged? I have and yet they admit it was wrong etc but will not repair / replace - any advice?
