Update regarding community safety on VGen
UNETHICAL BROKERS:
Happy to say we’ve identified many previously unconfirmed JRUhub brokers, affiliates, and other unethical group accounts and they have all been banned for misrepresenting the nature of their profiles and services, intentionally inviting bad actors, and ban evading.
Big thank you to everyone in our community who has helped to investigate, report on-site, and provide detailed proof that our team were then able to review and take action on. Thank you for helping us keep the community safe!
REMAINING BROKERS:
In the short term, broker discovery has been rebalanced, their withheld funds processed through VGen Payments may not be released until after a commission is complete, and all brokers will continue to not have any invite codes. If any broker accounts mistype themselves as an individual or studio, they will now be suspended for at least 1 month immediately upon discovery.
We are still evaluating whether additional long-term actions are required.
Please do not assume all brokers are bad. However, if you do see suspicious behaviour, please continue to report them on-site and we will investigate.
ARTIST INVITE CODES:
There is now a hard limit of 2 unused artist invite codes per Verified Artist at any given time. If you earn more through a challenge or special event drop and you already have 2 in your dashboard, you won’t receive any more.
ARTIST CODE GIVEAWAYS:
Effective Nov 1, 2026, general contests, raffles, or applications are no longer allowed, even if recipients are screened. This is due to the increasing sophistication of groups who fraudulently misrepresent themselves as individuals.
If you see someone hosting a raffle or are in violation of our Artist Code Policy in any way, please report them on-site with a screenshot or link to their violating post and we’ll investigate. Their first offence will result in a warning before more severe administrative actions may be taken for repeated offences, including losing verification status and suspensions.
Please see our full VGen Artist Code Policy here: help.vgen.co/hc/en-us/articl…

Ok so wait... Bongbong here wants us to conserve and collect rainwater and apparently drink from a timba with a very questionable filter. While he supports pax silica, a project that could place unnecessary demand on our water supply. 🤡
MARCOS DOWNPLAYS LIVELIHOOD CONCERNS OVER PAX SILICA: ‘I CANNOT SEE HOW’
WATCH: President Bongbong Marcos dismisses concerns that the Philippines’ participation in the US-led Pax Silica initiative could threaten local livelihoods, arguing that the project is expected to generate tens of thousands of jobs.
Speaking to reporters in Malacañang on Tuesday, Oct. 13, Marcos maintains that the initiative would strengthen the Philippines’ position in the global digital economy and artificial intelligence supply chain. | @TristanNodalo
i fucking hate this country
Friendly reminder to my fellow content creators/streamers in the Philippines, the BIR registration deadline is at the end of this month! 🧾
I'm applying this week and I'll share my DIY process so you can follow along if you wanna do urs too~

Good to know: as long as you're earning online (twitch payouts, bits, ko-fi, tips, sponsors, vgen) you still need to register even if your income is below the taxable threshold of 300k annually.
It sounds like a lot and a hassle but it's very doable. 🫠🫠
i dont even have proper branding and they even want to display this useless ahh fuckass logo to show that im registered? and DOX myself on the process???

God, I hate this because now I'm required to DOX myself.
Not to mention they are making this quite hard for any freelancer that don't make a lot of income to do.
Plus the steps to do it is also just as ubsurd! Not everyone is a f*cking company that can do this!

!!! I’m looking for someone who’d be available to edit VODS into highlight videos! (Paid!)
Please send me any examples you have!
If you’re already a stream watcher that’s a plus but not strictly necessary 🙂↕️
(Otomos please rt/like so I can reach more editors hehe✨)
