Well, some people asked for it. So here it finally is.
[ FFXIV Housing Tutorial: Master Lighting Guide ]☀️(by yours, truly), as a full fledged google docs, in-depth explanations, BiDs, considerably longer, better and brighter than my older lighting thread tutorial.
This is a guide with examples from across all the housing community, but with a strong focus on how I do lighting myself. Use this resource to develop your lighting skills, and by consequence, support the Sunset Project!
Read it here: docs.google.com/document/d/1…

A collab build between Parker and me! It's the very first time I have done a collab build with anyone and this was incredibly fun to do. Parker did most of the architecture layout while I helped bring the light into life. 🌠

Thanks to Vixen for actually giving us the idea in the first place to collab (I don't even know if you remember this haha), by tagging us in this picture we used for reference!! I'd love to do more collab builds in the future with my oomfs 🩷

ALT Collage of three images from Final Fantasy XIV, showing a room designed as the shower scene from Hitchcocks' movie, Psycho. The first and largest image shows a lalafell character lying in the bottom of a white bathtub, with the background liberally splashed with red. The top right shows more of the white bathroom, and a knife-welding character leaving the room. The bottom left shows a dark room, with a character in grey behind a check-in desk, and a staircase leading up. Text on the collage reads "PSYCHO at Tricks & Treats 2026. Dynamis | Rafflesia | Goblet | W26 | Sub | Apt 17. #CyrsaeHousing"
