We spend a lot of time in grassroots football discussing formats, pathways, rules and development. I still think one of the best measures we've got is much simpler:
Did the kid get back in the car wanting to come again next week? Get that right and we're doing alright.
Why would anyone think this is a poor move? Head and shoulders above all (?) our strikers currently, regardless of his age. Will exploit space behind, knows where the net is and is a leader character. Get behind it!
