@SHHSforGirls have just been announced as the London Regional Champions of @theESU's Public Speaking Competition!! Manon, Olivia and Charlotte, we are absolutely delighted and we can't wait to watch you perform in the National Final! 🥳
HUGE congratulations to Sophia and Olivia, WINNERS of the Gold Final at UCL Juniors!! Superb performances on behalf of @SHHSforGirls! 👏👏👏
This is so true! The buzz and excitement when students compete in person is simply irreplaceable; a Zoom room of muted black squares just doesn’t come close. Hoping that @lsesudebate’s junior competition stays in person in January, as scheduled - our first since March 2020!

Delighted that an @SHHSforGirls team has made it through to Round 2 of @theESU's Public Speaking Competition! Well done to Emma (Chair), Sophie (Questioner) & Chiara (Speaker). Chiara's great speech was on the topic: 'Any book worth banning is a book worth reading'. 👏🥳
Proud to be working at a school where this could happen - it was a privilege to be able to talk directly to the whole school on the importance of free speech
