Rich Paul reveals how he convinced LeBron James to return to Cleveland for his legacy Shannon Sharpe: “How did you convince LeBron to go back to Cleveland?” Rich Paul: “Legacy.” “We come from a place where two brothers shoot at each other and sleep in the same bed.” “What are we going to put over your legacy?” Before speaking to LeBron, Rich Paul said he first spoke with the people closest to him. “I talked to Savannah, Gloria, Maverick, and Randy.” “We identified the talent already on the team.” “I told them there was an opportunity.” “If you win a championship for the city of Cleveland and the Cavaliers, it’s a wrap.” “Nobody forgets anything else.” “When I come to the table with something, they know it’s serious.” “I’ve thought it through. I’ve strategized it. It makes perfect sense.”
