Electronics for Girls.
10 of our third and fourth year pupils attended an event at Strathclyde University run by the UK Electronics Skills Foundation.
It was a fascinating day - pupils learned from experts from industry and took part in soldering together…..1/2
part in soldering together an infrared transmitter and receiver and communicated with each other. They got to take away an Arduino microcontroller kit which they are now able to program- we hope that they will bring them to school to demonstrate their newly found skills.
