U.S. CORE PCE REVISIONS REVEAL SHARPER DISINFLATION
Downward revisions concentrated in 2026 have pushed annual core PCE to 3.0%, with July revised from 3.34% to 2.98%.
More importantly, underlying inflation momentum has weakened significantly:
3-month annualized: 2.05%
6-month annualized: 2.74%
The revisions suggest U.S. inflation was cooling faster than previously reported, beyond August’s softer reading alone.

Most of the guys on Crypto Twitter have only known a secular bull trend. They only know up only.
Before the GFC, conditions were pretty similar to how they are now, and when everything finally broke, my family thought they were going to lose everything.
I see a lot of people drawing out that final blow off top, that giant ending diagonal, that final fifth wave.
Just a bit of fun really, nice drawings, right? But you better really think about what actually happens when we get there, and what you're going to do about it.
Because that shit ain't a joke.

That post-2020 rise in inflation was right on schedule. The Fed and Congress merely amplified its magnitude. The current rise is also happening on schedule.
The rising cost of living accelerated dramatically post-2020, which coincidentally is when the Fed dropped bank reserve requirements to zero, whereas they historically ranged from 3% to 14%.
The Fed used to adjust reserve requirements to fight inflation. No more.
