Good News Alert! We’ve secured funding from the Awards for All National Lotteries Community Fund to fund Ey Up - It’s Wigan West CommUnity News for the next two years. And, offer local people training to become Community Reporters with Peoples Voice Media 💃🥳

Today at CommUnity Corner we have: Chill, Chat, Colour & Cuppa hosted by Sue & Val Addiction Awareness hosted by Roz LGBTQI Network hosted by Resolute Productions & the public living room is open to all. Chat, read, play games, have 🫖 , eat some of Gills left over birthday 🎂

This months private members community lottery winner is no 1. We had 81 players this month & £405 in the pot equally split between 1 winner & community good causes. Players voted to spend the money on discounted tickets for summer trips & trophies for the community awards 😍

Our Summer trips to the Lido at Skipton & New Brighton sold out in mins, thanks to help with coach hire from Local Cllrs. Here's 2 more before schools break out, with subsidy available from community lottery winnings, agreed by SBHG members 🥰 Raising cash, spending together 💕

Saturday was market day at CommUnity Corner, thanks to Cat Guidance Rescue for all the bargains. Also a chance for the Playbox Campaign group to raise some funds too

Children from the Playbox Campaign Group have added another £66.06 to their pot today at the pop up market, naming teddies. They accepted a great donation of Lego & enjoyed cream pie cakes 😂 We love the energy the kids bring to everything they do 😍

Emma is on the look out for creatives within the community that would like to display & sell their creations at CommUnity Corner 🩷 The 🪟 is currently a work in progress. every month one creative will be able to display their works within the window as 'Maker of the Month'. 😍
