We have been busy this week getting areas ready for the coronation, cutting grass, tidying flower beds and putting up flags and bunting. #coronation #grass #grasscutting

One of my favourite tools. The weed brush saves so much hand work and gets rid of those slippy surfaces.
Congratulations to @plantagogo @HarrogateFlower for their award winning stand. Now back at home with some of their plants to improve the garden. #gardener #GardeningTwitter #plants #horticulture #gardening #flowershow
We had a rare day off today to visit the first show of the year @HarrogateFlower some amazing displays and lots of purchases made #gardener #GardeningTwitter #plants #horticulture #gardening #flowershow
More of our spring plants starting to look their best in the North East #gardener #garden #GardeningTwitter #plants #Horticulture
We recently took this piece of land. Added some stone for drainage, topsoil and compost mix, rockery stones and then finished the area off with shrubs and herbaceous plants for all round colour. #GardeningTwitter #gardening #plants

We maintain some huge estates and usually drag heavy dumpy bags around when mowing lawns. Now with the @Henchman_Ltd barrow we can carry a dumpy bag of grass around effortlessly.
A recent planting job we did for a local council around a paved area. They requested a low box hedge which we substituted for Euonymous due to box suffering with lots of pests and diseases. #planting #GardeningTwitter
We coppiced a 5 metre strip around these allotments then piled branches on site to act as a security barrier and for wildlife to use as requested. This will provide the allotments with light that the large forest area was stopping in summer.
One of our play areas had a lot of growth from neighbouring properties. Unfortunately not everyone keeps their sites tidy so we cut the hedging hard back allowing us better access to our own site. #groundsmaintenance

Wet and windy early Monday morning in the north east. But love what you do and you will never work a day in your life.
From the tree removal job we did a few weeks ago. We have been back to grind the stumps, soil the area, seed the bare areas and finally fertilise to help the #grass recover.
Light mornings are back allowing us to get on site earlier. Lots of pitches to check and prepare for this weekends games. #grassroots #grassrootsfootball
One of our sites showing signs of spring. #gardening
A job from a few weeks ago. This tree gets pollarded every 2 years to allow Christmas lights to be fitted to the steel structure.
On with the last of the hedge reductions this week. #grass cutting season is just round the corner. 😀
A recent job we carried out was to reduce the amount of trees on a one of our new sites. 30 years ago when planted as saplings this would of been ok but #trees need thinning out to allow others to grow better.
