Well done!!!
Finally done!! We sampled 8 @SEVLTER expts in 3 days and processed everything in 4 🤯 we’re hoping to characterize cyanos & #fungi in #biocrusts & roots and how they respond to warming, precip, drought & #nitrogen manipulations 🌾🦠🍄🧬🧫

Way to go Tim (who is actually a student @UNM with @ESA_Prez2013)
Graduate Student Policy Award recipient Timothy Ohlert (@Tim_Ohlert) is a Ph.D. candidate at @UMN. His research at @SEVLTER, @caplter and @CedarCreekESR focuses on desert plant community response to extreme climate events. #GSPA2019 bit.ly/2Suzkvz

Thanks so much for coming to visit our field site - home to 30 years of LTER research! @USLTER
Today I learned about 3 research projects at the Sevilleta Long Term Ecological Research (LTER) site, on a tour with UNM scientists Jennifer Rudgers & Marcy Litvak. The research involves climate warming, drought & delayed monsoons-important for responding to climate variability

Replying to @skmorgane
i really like Simon Wood's remarkably lucid Generalized Additive Models, the first 1/3 of which of is on GLMs. probably not a good standalone on GLMs, but great if GAMs are on the todo list
