ALT Interview participants needed! ‘Understanding the use of social media in the daily lives of autistic young people’. Anyone in the UK aged 16-26 who identifies as autistic can take part, especially those who identify as low-/non-speaking or non-verbal, as well as individuals from Black, Asian & Minority Ethnic groups. You should have some experience using social media, but you don’t need to be an active user. You will be asked to do 2 online interviews (45-60 mins each) via a platform of your choice. We’ll discuss how you use social media & how online spaces can be made more accessible. After the 1st interview, a member of the team will follow you on a social media platform of your choice. With your permission, we’ll collect some of your posts/comments to understand how you use language, images & platform features. These posts will be the focus of the 2nd interview. We’ll offer you up to £80 in high street vouchers as a thanks for taking part. If interested, please scan the QR code.
