One thing is for certain. UGA fans know how to bite the hand that feeds them. All I’ve seen from them is how Alabama and Nick Saban have cheated for years and this was payback.
You people should be thankful for Alabama football and Nick Saban. Otherwise you’d still have coaches like Richt, Goff, or Donnan.

.@POTUS: Mercedes-Benz is investing $4B to expand its plant in Tuscaloosa. U.S. Steel is investing $475M at its plant near Birmingham. Eli Lilly is investing $6B to create a new factory in Huntsville. ArcelorMittal is investing $1.2B for an advanced steel manufacturing facility in Mobile. We just opened a brand new facility to build Navy submarines in Cherokee — and we're building new Coast Guard Cutters right here in Mobile.
MANUFACTURING IS BACK!

The Greenland deal is Classic Trump 101: start with the wild ask — “we should own Greenland” — get everybody freaking out, and then negotiate toward what you really want.
And what did he want? A bigger, permanent U.S. security footprint in Greenland and a way to keep China and Russia out.
You can hate the style, but this is how he deals: start huge, create leverage, then land the part you actually came for. #Greenland @realDonaldTrump
Spot the difference…
Capitalist Elon Musk:
$3 trillion in value with Companies
Pays the salaries of 150,000
Lives in a trailer
Communist Bernie Sanders:
$36 trillion of debt while in Congress
Pays the salaries of 0 people
Lives in multiple homes

President Trump secured 65 billion barrels of oil from Venezuela.
He just secured military and economic control over Greenland.
Poverty in the US just hit an all-time low.
We have net negative immigration to the US for the first time in 75 years.
Do you see why they have to desperately obsess over the temporary increase in gas prices?
It's all they have.

I enjoyed visiting the University of Alabama today to discuss our policy victories in Florida over the last eight years.
Florida is proof that big results in education, infrastructure, and conservation can be achieved without sacrificing fiscal discipline. We have made transformative investments in core responsibilities, from disaster preparedness and public safety to teacher pay and cancer research. At the same time, we've reduced spending for four consecutive years, and we're on track to repay more than half of all state debt accumulated since statehood.
Thanks to the Shelby Institute for Policy and Leadership for hosting us in Tuscaloosa for this great conversation.

"OK, that's nice but Trump has not yet made all of my heart's wildest dreams and desires come true, so I'm sitting out the midterms."

This is a geopolitical masterstroke. In an era of aggressive Chinese economic and military expansion, this pact between the USA and Denmark is vital.
Great job Mr. President and Secretary Rubio.

Yeah…why would you want to know whether or not the potential mother of your future children might be sympathetic to a little postpartum strangling or not?

I’ve seen the raw number discrepancies between noon and night games for LSU, but it took diving a little deeper for it to actually jar me.
In the CFP era they’ve played a total of 80 home games (A&M on the 26th will be #81). 65 (66) of those have been night games. 4 out of every 5 games they’ve played over the last 12 plus seasons have started under the lights.
In the SEC on ABC era they’ve played 14 of 16 at night, one at 3:30, and one at noon. They played six 3:30 SEC on CBS games through the last decade of the deal while other teams passed that in two seasons.
All but one buy game since 2014 has been a night game (Utah State in 2019 after they’d already played Georgia Southern and Northwestern State).
20 of 25 games since 2014 against Alabama, Ole Miss, Texas A&M, and Florida have been night kickoffs.
The A&M game is their 4th scheduled night game through the first 5 weeks. Mississippi State is slated for a noon kickoff, but with Alabama and Texas on the schedule for November, there’s a very good chance they play 6+ home night games for the 8th time in the last 13 seasons.
It’s outrageous that they get these protections and privileges that no one else in the country, let alone the conference gets.
