Fuck him. This country is under attack right now. Time for everyone to speak loudly and clearly and to reject this.

Quincy Jones’ distinguished career was spawned in part by the quality tutelage he received as a Seattle student at Garfield High. In addition to revisiting his oeuvre (this album is a favorite of mine), funding public ed in Washington would be a good way to honor his memory. 🎺❤️

Quincy Jones casually offering the greatest quote I've ever heard about the act of creation.

Growing up in Seattle Quincy Jones was our North Star. You’d drive by Garfield High School and there’s a huge mural of him and parents would tell you “Quincy Jones went here”. He made you believe someone from there and specially our hood could make it

Throwback to Halloween ’91 (33 f’in years ago! 😳) at the Paramount Theater. Susie introduced me to Kurt Cobain & Krist novoselic for the 1st time before a blistering live show. None of us had any clue what would happen in the months/years following.
No clue.

It’s no longer sexy or advantages for democrats to platform “police brutality”. @GNCordova reminds us that it’s our job to force it into a political priority issue again. Great read.
As we approach the anniversary of #GeorgeFloyd's death, @GNCordova reflects on the ongoing police violence and why we must continue to hold police accountable regardless of who is in the White House.
