ㅤ ㅤ Raises her attention from the paperwork she's been absently staring at for a few minutes now. A soft smile. "Save me from the paperwork?" ㅤ ㅤ

ㅤ ㅤ Leaning forward and tapping on her keyboard to wake up the monitor, Coldfront opens the work-related messenger and is quick to reply. 💬: I've actually just finished for the night. 💬: Is everything alright? ㅤ ㅤ

ㅤ ㅤ Scott, Coldfront's cat, leaps up from out of view and lands on Coldfront's chest. "Something like that, yes." She admits, scratching behind the orange hellion's head. "Home can get ... sad? I don't know. Sometimes I'd just . . . rather be here, I guess." ㅤ ㅤ

ㅤ ㅤ Coldfront offers a warm smile, contrasting with the room's cold temperature due to her abilities. "You could say that. Trying to catch up on everything is ... a lot." Bright blue eyes catch on the bag. "So what've you got there, Dusty?" ㅤ ㅤ

Something else happened that basically reset me back to crying for hours a day and having a hard time doing anything. basically caught feelings for my best friend amid the drama and flirting and semi-foreplay bs we kept getting into. then he got a gf and i overheard them talking about me and my feelings in a way that made me sick. like physically ill. treating my emotions like a little game or joke between them with the girlfriend being all taunty and petty saying things like "well, who won?" and my "best friend" indulging in her pettiness and enjoying it as they tease talk one another like theyre about to have phone sex. and i know i just aired out a lot of personal shit in one go right but im still, like, trying not to go insane so i dont care. but yeah, im writing again. i started more over on Miss Fortune first, now im working on things here. i'd like to get some serious threads going to help me cope with life.
