Some of the technologies we use today were developed over 50 years ago when it did not look necessary or important✅.
A basic 'flying car' by Elon, and I'm shocked to see even SOME fellow Africans asking funny questions, I guess that's part of why we are behind in this sector; SOME people are just okay with being average, no crazy vision or ambition to explore, to do extraordinary things
These guys think into the future, take on impossible tasks, we may never know all we know about space & the solar system, satellites etc if the Russians & the Americans didn't start a space race, some would have said "why waste money trying to go to space when we can do blah blah blah on earth"
There are dozens of companies building unimaginable stuff over there, everything they are building doesn't need to make sense now. This may hurt u or inspire u depending on ur political inclination
But This is Why America looks like the greatest country on earth when it comes to creating stuff/engineering in diverse sectors, there's alot to learn from the way they think in this regard, u can ignore their politics etc, but their engineering has contributed alot to this planet
I AM INSPIRED TO CONTRIBUTE TO BUILDING EXTRAORDINARY THINGS FOR AFRICA 👍🏼

Things I believe Nigerians won’t admit:
1. Peter Obi is the best candidate to be Nigeria’s next president.
2. A university degree that cannot help you earn a living is useless.
3. Tribalism is political stupidity and a total waste of time.
4. 99% of Nigerian pastors are businessmen. Religion is the most profitable business in Nigeria.
5. Having children you cannot afford is selfishness. God’s blessings is not an excuse for financial irresponsibility.
6. Marriage is not an achievement. Marrying the wrong person is a total disaster.
7. Being 30, 40, 50, 60, unmarried and childless is not a curse. You don’t owe society a spouse or children.
8. Unemployment can be better than earning below ₦100k a month. Working full-time and still being unable to survive is exploitation.
9. Spending above ₦10 million on a wedding while living in a rented apartment is financial stupidity.
10. Cheating is not the worst thing a partner can do to you in a relationship.

How many of us are like him?
I met this guy selling ice cream in Enugu and asked how he handles his money.
On good days he makes ₦7,000–10,000 profit. He pays his rent, stays single, and still manages to save. He has a First Bank account, but that’s not where most of his money goes.
Instead, he gives it to an older man he trusts “like a father.” The man holds the cash, and the seller writes the date and amount in a book. No interest, no app, just trust.
Why not the bank? He said he feels banks “use our money wrong” and spend it. So he keeps the account for when he needs to borrow, but for real savings he prefers the person he knows won’t touch it.
That’s the gap. He is banked, but he still keeps his money outside the system because he doesn’t fully trust it. Informal trust still beats formal banking for him.

When I was recently on Air Force One with President Trump, we spoke about this.
Really happy to see him say this publicly as well. Because it’s true. They really are all Mohammed.
I said “Mr. President. We have an Islamic problem in our country and your base would love to hear you speak about it more at your midterm rallies. We need to call them what they are. Islamic communists, jihadists and Muslim Brotherhood operatives.”
President Trump has been speaking about it at every rally since.

Personally I think people are being unnecessarily cruel to @KatieZacharia. She seems like a nice lady who just wanted to serve the President.
There are people who work inside the WH who leak to CNN and MSDNC everyday.
She was nervous. It’s not a crime. There are people who work for President Trump who are doing much worse things on a daily basis to undermine the President when we look at the 44,000 federal employees who work under this administration.
I wish Katie the best. I think it’s great that President Trump has people who are so devoted to his cause they are willing to subject themselves to public nitpicking on a daily basis. I’m sure he appreciates it and I think Katie had good intentions.
Just leave her alone now.
