Thanks to our 2-party system, citizens of @EdinaMN, @CityofHopkins, and @stlouispark have the final say by November 3; absentee voting start[ed] September 18 and early in-person voting starts October 16.
If the voters are happy with the DFL making Minnesota famous all over the country, well, it's a free country.
Otherwise, voters who think that the DFL should pay closer attention to the concerns of everyday Minnesotans can safely send that message by voting for us.
We urge every eligible voter to vote.

Back in 2006, Nimco Ahmed, the CEO of an autism center now under state investigation, joined the "Klobuchar team" during Amy Klobuchar's first Senate run, according to a profile at the time.
A former employee told Alpha News last week that Ahmed's autism center is "fraudulent," an allegation Ahmed denies.

Nimco Ahmed stood beside Peggy Flanagan during the viral December video defending Minnesota’s Somali community. Now the autism center Ahmed operates is under an open Minnesota DHS investigation, along with another provider.
The state says both providers were terminated from Medicaid through its 2026 revalidation process, and both have appealed. Ahmed denies allegations about inadequate oversight and maintains her center complies with state requirements.
The investigation is drawing renewed attention to Minnesota’s fraud controversies and Flanagan, who has served as lieutenant governor since 2019.

Peggy Flanagan said she's been "friends for almost 25 years" with Nimco Ahmed. Now, DHS confirms an autism center operated by Ahmed is under investigation as a former employee of the center accuses it of being "fraudulent."
Ahmed denied the allegations and told Alpha News that even asking questions about the care at her autism center was "bias."
"I actually have an email conversation from 2023 stating that I did not believe their clients appeared to be autistic, and I also have a text message conversation from around that time telling someone that I was planning to leave that center because I had concerns related to fraud and that the owner, Nimco, didn't seem to care," said Grant Morgan, who used to work at Ahmed’s center.

Oak Grove wanted to use paper voter rosters in November. Simon and Anoka County argued the city couldn’t make that choice.
Minnesota’s Supreme Court disagreed, ruling that state law gives the city the authority to choose paper or electronic rosters.
