Apple Vision is the equivalent of someone in the 70s selling a 100lb backpack of a computer in anticipation of the laptop. Like yeah, it’s where things are going, but how can you not see that today’s tech can only get you there by being expensive and goofy as hell?

OBVIOUSLY what AR devices need are transparent, one-way screens. Smartphones you wear as glasses, how cool! But if you insist on doing this w/o those, yeah you gotta do a bulky headset with a ton of cameras and a freaky outward-facing eye screen. So here we are.

Marathon: Durandal is one of, if not the, first video games I can remember playing*. So yeah, I’m quite intrigued as to why Bungie is going back to it after nearly my entire lifetime. *I sat on my dad’s lap and was in charge of hitting the space bar to shoot everything. Fun fun.
