M1 CLOSURE
Please find an alternative route and please allow extra time for your journey as traffic is likely to be busier on your route.

#M1 north #J15A / Northampton Services (#A43 #Northampton) to #J16 (#A45 #Daventry) is in the process of being CLOSED due to a serious collision. Traffic Officers & @NorthantsPolice are at scene, Maintenance Crews are on their way to the area to assist.
Busy weekend! Yesterday crewed with PC1634. We spent the whole day on one job (domestic) ensuring evidence then interview was completed properly and case file built.
Today I have been single crewed but supported by the team which I’m grateful for. Ready for bed now 😂😴
Enjoyed my shift last night helping the response team with a S18 house search following some PDP reviews with specials.
Came home to this though…. I nearly called for backup! 😂🕷🕸
After a family emergency then a week away, i’m looking forward to next weekend where I’ll be doing a double shift! Saturday with the football serial then Sunday with response.
Tomorrow eve I am back in the station for some 1-2-1’s with my new team 💙 @NorPolSpecials

Remembering PC Andrew Harper, of Thames Valley Police, who was killed on duty on this day in 2019. Our thoughts are with Lissie and Andrew’s family today. #LestWeForget #HarpersLaw
Our Police work so hard with increased risks and danger. I have seen first hand the effort and risks as well as the increase of assaults and heartbreak of being first on scene to those struggling too much. The police do more than many people realise… yet always seem forgotten 😔

So true!
Safety first.
The roads are busy. The temperatures are insanely hot & lots of people are on road trips.
There are also lots break downs. Do you vehicle checks before setting off.

Also make sure you’ve got breakdown cover!

The whole @England team can hold their heads up high. I'm disgusted players have been subjected to racism. It has no place in our society in person or online. We all have a responsibility to call it out. If you witness racism, report it to the police and help us drive it out.
So tonight it didn’t come home 😢🏴
If you’ve been out watching the big game, make sure YOU do get home….
Don’t do anything foolish through emotions to land yourself a bed in custody…. It won’t change the result 🤷🏼♀️⚽️
#EuroFinal
Hope the big game doesn’t overload resources tonight, thinking of all those working. Unfortunately I can’t do a shift to support due to early start with work tomorrow.
Will be keeping fingers crossed that the shifts all go well. Stay safe guys and girls 💙❤️💚

The #Daventry neighbourhood team have spent the day dismantling yet another cannabis factory in Weedon.
That’s almost 2 million pounds worth of cannabis we’ve prevented from reaching the counties streets in the past 2 weeks! @NorthantsPolice #organizedcrime
