Hey @northernassist Could you explain why it is £68 to travel with a wheelchair, compared to £27 without, on your partnership-provided taxi service, advertised through your website? Ludicrous offensive and illegal discrimination. @railandroad @Matt_the_Yorkie

This is utter tosh. @northernassist are radically cutting the number of staffed station hours, by 60%.
✅ Pledges from rail companies to passengers and staff about proposals on how tickets are sold ✅ Across the network as a whole, there will be more staff available to give face-to-face help to customers out in stations than there are today.   Find out more about the proposals for customer focused stations at raildeliverygroup.com/custom…

Sign posts can make getting around streets difficult for some disabled people They take up pavement space, are another obstacle for people to navigate and can sometimes be pretty pointless But, if we’re going to have them, how can we make sign posts better? I’ll go first…

Following another heartbreaking report into the Norfolk and Suffolk NHS Trust (NSFT), @Jess4Waveney, @AliceMLabour and I have issued a joint statement. How many more families have to suffer before things change? It is time for the Government to put an end to this misery.

Disabled people and their supporters including Judi Dench have protested at York Council's permanent ban on disabled parking in the city centre. The time to end the discrimination that prevents disabled people playing a full part in York is long overdue. telegraph.co.uk/news/2023/04…

FREE LEGAL OPINION: This would not constitute an offence under the Public Order Act. And it is deeply troubling that any police officer would think that it might.
Just went to Parliament Square & held up a blank piece of paper. Officer came & asked for my details. He confirmed that if I wrote “Not My King” on it, he would arrest me under the Public Order Act because someone might be offended.
