An absolutely superb day at @SCIupdate belgrave square! Packed full of truly fantastic discussions and an incredible window into some of the groundbreaking work going on within UK industry in the battery sector.
Huge thanks to all of our speakers, and to a wonderful audience that kept the discussions going all day! We can't wait for next year to do it all again!

Finally, wrapping up what's been an amazing day - Prof. @Emjewls from @unibirmingham talks about her work in battery research, and working with SMEs and industry on technology development.
We're kicking off our final session with committee member @Hatem_449k giving us a look at his work with @GCornerSystems
Our final speaker of the session is Adam Taylor from @CellMine23 giving us a fascinating look at their work in battery recycling opportunities
Next up we move into looking at the crucial IP considerations and how this impacts the commercial battery sector from the @AppleyardLees 'Inside Green Innovation Report', with Kealan Fallon.
First up after lunch, Avishek Dey of @UCL talking about operando XPS of electrodes!
Our next speaker is Dongni Zhao from @LancasterUni talking about her PhD studies into Mn dissolution from electrode materials under operating conditions!
Our first speaker in our second session is Dylan Maxwell giving us an overview of his journey to working with @nyobolt and the exciting work that they do!
Next up we have Callum Sweeney from @ukCPI informing us of the ways in which they can help companies develop and commercialise their battery science in the UK!
We kick off our 2024 annual conference with @DomSpencerJolly talking about his research into solid state batteries at @unibirmingham
